Just as Quinn was about to succumb to nervousness, the elevator doors slid open. Yvette and Jeremiah, leading the group, emerged.

Quinn wiped his brow and immediately approached. "Ms. Zeller..." His eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Rodney, the quiet young man, trailing behind Yvette. This was highly unusual; it signified Rodney's deference to Yvette. This was serious.

Quinn bowed deeply, his voice trembling slightly. Yvette glanced at the sweating Quinn. "We'll leave our luggage in the room," she said, "and collect it in two days."

Quinn nodded eagerly. "Certainly, Ms. Zeller. Your belongings will be secure. That floor won't be assigned to other guests. You can rest assured." He resolved to guard the second floor, even if it meant sleepless nights. He feared what Rodney might do if anything happened to Yvette's luggage.

At the hotel entrance, over a dozen black cars were parked in perfect order. The earlier crowd had dispersed, leaving the street empty except for Rodney's entourage.

Samantha observed the deserted street, thinking, 'It was bustling just moments ago, and now it's completely silent.'

Eagle King, clad in bright red shorts, green flip-flops, and a flowered shirt, his chest muscles faintly visible, surveyed the scene. "Rodney's learned to make an entrance, huh?"

Charles stared at Rodney, following Yvette. He thought, 'If not for Yvette's help and my own strength, I'd likely be dead a hundred times over!' He wondered, 'How many people has Yvette saved? This time, the King of Voraxia. Who will it be next?'

As Rodney exited the hotel, two bodyguards in black suits, muscles bulging, guns drawn, approached, bowing deeply. Addressing him as "Mr. Robinson," they flanked him protectively.

Stepping from the second-floor room, Rodney transformed. His face hardened, a ruthless demeanor belying his age. He glanced at the bodyguards. "Go home," he commanded.

Turning to Yvette, his expression softened. "The people you saved are still in the village, Yvette. They speak of you constantly. Let's return."

Yvette, noticing the subtle unease and ingratiation in Rodney's eyes, replied casually, "Alright."

The group divided into two cars. Yvette, Jeremiah, and Rodney occupied one; Samantha, Charles, Emmett, and Eagle King, the other.

In their car, Eagle King examined the modified vehicle. "This is no joke. The modifications alone must have cost a fortune – exceeding the car's original price."

Emmett and Charles readily agreed. The car was restructured with space-grade materials; the modifications far surpassed the car's value.

Samantha, though less knowledgeable about cars, recognized the expensive materials. She sighed. "Sometimes, I feel Yvette is a goddess. She effortlessly alters fate."

It was more than altering fate; it was defying odds. For Rodney, meeting Yvette was his greatest stroke of luck.

Emmett and Charles nodded gravely. Charles, personally trained by Yvette, understood the profound depth of her influence.

Eagle King, legs crossed, his bright green flip-flops impossible to ignore, addressed the others. "Don't make such a fuss. Yvette always surprises you. You'll get used to it."

They thought, 'What else can we do? Yvette is incredibly powerful.'

Rodney, in the passenger seat, glared at Yvette and Jeremiah in the back, his gaze lingering on Jeremiah.

Jeremiah, unhurriedly, peeled an orange and offered it to Yvette, who took a piece without looking up from her phone.

This infuriated Rodney.

Jeremiah raised his head, smirking at Rodney. He waved the orange. "Care for one?" he asked softly.

Rodney huffed, turning away. "No, it's too sour," he muttered.

Jeremiah's smile faded slightly as he watched Rodney sulk.

Three hours later, they reached Rodney's base – a training ground. A grand gate, guarded by rows of armed soldiers standing at attention, stood before them.

Upon exiting the car, Rodney acknowledged the soldiers with a curt nod. They snapped to attention, bowing deeply. Some soldiers momentarily froze at the sight of Yvette, their excitement barely concealed.

"Let's go inside, Yvette," Rodney said.

They entered, revealing a world vastly different from the modest exterior. The buildings were of red brick, with distinctive designs. Red walls, flowing water, and artificial mountains created an elegant atmosphere. Women in plain clothes and playing children were present. It felt more like a paradise than a military base. The genuine happiness on their faces was unmistakable.

The group was awestruck. It was nothing like they'd anticipated.

Jeremiah, walking beside Yvette, was surprised. It didn't resemble Voraxia. Without prior knowledge, they might have thought themselves in a Clusian village. There was no war, only happiness.

Eagle King pulled a blade of grass, chewing it thoughtfully. "Rodney's ruthless, but he doesn't kill indiscriminately or seize power. These are soldiers' families, those who followed him voluntarily, or those who suffered misfortunes. As long as they don't betray him, he protects them. Yvette helped him, with money and connections, seeing good in him. Otherwise, why would she have gone to such lengths?"

Charles and Emmett nodded. Regardless of motive, the people here lived better lives, undeniably happier.

Samantha watched the smiling children. If she hadn't come, she wouldn't have known that the notorious Golden Triangle held such a hidden sanctuary.
