Chapter 178

Lane quickly handed Emma the phone. A tweet from a Twitter user named “Aim for the Sky, Faithie” had arrived. The tweet read: "My fitness is bad, my results are average, and surviving military school is so difficult. When the people I care about are bullied, I can't speak up for them... But I mustn't give up. I must work hard and make a name for myself." Several encouraging emoticons accompanied the message. "Faithie" had millions of followers, her popularity boosted by recent photographs of Charon Military School students in uniform.

Emma glanced at the tweet. Besides selfies, the other tweets were overwhelmingly positive and supportive. The tweet immediately garnered numerous comments. One read, "F*ck. Who bullied our Faithie? Reveal her. We will avenge you." Another said, "Hugs, Faithie. Don't cry. You must have been wronged. It's okay. You're beautiful."

Several highly-liked comments appeared to be from Faith's close friends. The first wrote, "Isn't she only the champion of the last competition? She's bullying others just because she has good physical fitness and good results." A second friend added, "Honey, don't be sad. We're with you."

Though Emma wasn't named, the implication was clear: they sought to involve Emma and incite online bullying. After all, few students at the school were both famous and high-achieving. Emma, the recent International Boxing Competition winner, was the prime suspect. Comments like, "Is it Emma?" and "From Emma's looks, she's not to be trifled with. She must have bullied Faith," quickly followed.

A few attempts at cyberbullying Emma were swiftly countered. One netizen retorted, "Are you guys kidding me? Emma is our current hero in traditional boxing and the winner of the Grail Hero Emblem. She's not on our level. Why would she target your Faithie?" Another commented, "Isn't this woman just a small internet celebrity who became famous with a set of photos? How dare she involve our national hero?"

These comments were not paid for or orchestrated by Emma or Lane. Lane, relieved, said, "Faith still wants to try this kind of cyberbullying. They probably didn't expect your online popularity to be so much higher."

Emma pursed her lips and smiled. Initially, she'd chosen to ignore it, having already let them off that morning. But their continued insensitivity changed her mind. "Give me your phone," she said.

Lane quickly obliged. Emma's fingers danced across the screen. Within minutes, lines of code flowed across the display. She hit send, exited the program, and opened Twitter. Faith's rapidly-spreading tweet had vanished.

Lane whispered, "Damn. Emma's good."

Meanwhile, Faith stared at her phone in shock. "What's going on?" No official website message indicated a rule violation. Yet, the tweet was gone from her drafts, along with hundreds of thousands of comments. Searching her name online, she discovered all related news had disappeared. She had no idea what was happening.

Faith's rise to fame hadn't been easy. Now, her name and photos were gone, all her hard work erased. Emma had completely scrubbed Faith's online presence. In the fast-paced digital world, countless internet celebrities like Faith existed. For Emma, a digital legend, dealing with such a morally questionable individual was effortless. Deleting Faith's account was simple and swift; new internet celebrities would inevitably emerge, and Faith would be quickly forgotten.

Chapter 178 (continued)

At Halls Group headquarters, Simon was arriving for a meeting. Liam sat in the CEO's office, surrounded by complex data analysis diagrams on his computer. Dressed in a black suit, he listened attentively to Levi's report.

After the business discussion, Levi adjusted his glasses. "Mr. Hall, we've checked the address on the coded letter. It's fake. No such address exists internationally. It seems the sender is deliberately concealing their location."

Liam played with his black fountain pen. "If we can't find the address, could it be someone close to Dad?"

Levi shook his head. "According to those around Mr. Simon, he's also been searching for the antidote without success."

The sender was neither Simon's friend nor someone connected to Emma. They were dealing with a completely unknown entity. The existence of such a powerful, mysterious individual, surpassing even Team Thunder and the King's Association, was startling. Their affiliation—friend or foe—remained uncertain, demanding vigilance.

Liam instructed, "Tell everyone to be careful, especially those around Mrs. Hall."

Levi understood. "Alright, Mr. Hall. Don't worry. We will protect Mrs. Hall."

After Levi left, Liam thought of Emma, overwhelming longing washing over him. He pictured her curly eyelashes, glowing skin, bright smile, and adorable canine tooth. He glanced at his watch; it was break time at Charon Military School.

Moments later, Emma received a call. "Hello, hubby?"

Liam felt instantly refreshed. His brows relaxed. "What are you doing?"

"I just finished training. I'm exhausted. I'm going back to the dormitory to shower," Emma replied.

"I miss you, honey," Liam confessed.

Despite his frequent displays of affection, Emma's heart still fluttered at his declarations of love.

Emma playfully responded, "Do you want to come and help me shower?"

Liam, seated in his cold office, smiled meaningfully. His Adam's apple bobbed. "Hm? If you miss me so much, then wait."

"Oh, I was just joking. Don't come over," Emma quickly added, knowing he might actually rush to Charon Military School.

Liam chuckled, his voice deep and sexy. "Train well. When you come back, don't complain about being tired again."

Emma fell silent.

"Did you hear what I said?" Liam repeated.

Blushing, Emma conceded, "Yes, sir."

After hanging up, Emma smiled as she walked through the school. Lane, noticing the pink hue on Emma's usually radiant skin, innocently asked, "Miss Wilson, are you very hot today? Why don't you drink some water from my very cooling bottle?" She even fanned Emma.

Emma was unsure how to explain. Erza, however, instantly recognized the signs. "Tsk. You're in heat. How charming. Honey, are you in the mood for love? Want me to satisfy you?"
