Chapter 33: You Are Simply Perfect
She couldnโt tell if the tools were originally this color or if they had become so from years of being stained with blood. Her face turned pale as she stared at the blood-red tools on the walls, her mind buzzing and unable to react. Memories of the chaos she experienced in prison flooded back.
โOh, right, I havenโt seen your beautiful scars yet,โ Jacob said, accustomed to women who screamed and struggled against him, and to those who seduced him for money. But he had never encountered someone like Claire, who lay still without resistance or allure.
His interest piqued, Jacob didnโt wait for Claire to respond. He crouched down and ripped her clothes open.
โOh my god, what a perfect and beautiful scar! This is truly a gift from heaven. Look at this scar; itโs so vivid.โ
โItโs like the bountiful harvest of rice during the season, so plump and lifelike, as if the rice is growing right in front of your eyes. Youโre simply perfect, my darling.โ
โIf only you were a virgin, that would be even more perfect.โ Jacobโs eyes sparkled with excitement as he admired the scar on Claireโs body.

Claire remained unresponsive, her body stiff and her expression blank. Her mind was a void, fixated on the blood-red tools on the walls. The chaotic memories from prison, the warm blood, surged over her like a roaring wave, completely engulfing her.
Meanwhile, at Eclipse Nightclub, Richard had already contacted Frederick. Upon hearing Jacobโs name, Richard froze. Frederick had instructed him to let Claire suffer a bit, but he never said to kill her. Now that Claire had fallen into the hands of this old pervert Jacob, her fate seemed sealed.
In Kingstown, everyone knew about Jacobโs depravity. Any woman sent to him never came out alive.
In the hospital room, Caroline had already woken up, and Frederick was carefully keeping her company.
Richard clenched his phone tightly, standing outside the hospital room, watching Frederick accompany Caroline. He hesitated; after all, Caroline had just gone through a traumatic experience, almost like Anna years ago. If he went in nowโฆ

Richard paced anxiously at the door, thinking for a long time, but ultimately couldnโt resist going in to report to Frederick.
โFrederick, thereโs been an incident at Eclipse Nightclub.โ
Richard stepped inside, unable to lift his head, not daring to make a sound.
โCaroline, you should sleep now, be good,โ Frederick said, frowning as he comforted Caroline before stepping out.
Having worked alongside Richard for many years, Frederick could tell something was off by Richardโs demeanor.
โSpeak.โ
Frederick stepped out of the hospital room, his mind racing with thoughts of what might have happened at Eclipse Nightclub, or if his brother Arthur had caused any trouble there. After all, Eclipse Nightclub had been his secret meeting place for years, where he dealt with officials and handled important matters.
โClaireโฆ sheโฆ has been sent to Jacob,โ Richard stammered, his voice trembling with anxiety.
โWhat?โ Frederick spun around, his gaze fixed on Richard, who was looking down, avoiding eye contact. He was shocked to learn that Claire was involved, and even more horrified to think she had fallen into the hands of Jacob, a man notorious for his cruelty towards women.
