Chapter 413: Zachary Hates Betrayal

Zachary acted as if he didn’t hear Caroline’s pleas. Ignoring her completely, he headed upstairs to plan his escape. She was just a woman. He had never lacked women, and Caroline meant nothing to him. Right now, the most urgent thing was to retreat. He still couldn’t be certain who was behind the surveillance. If it turned out that Frederick was involved, then everything would be over. Frederick wasn’t just anyone—he held considerable power. Once Frederick set his sights on someone, there was no escaping. And if that happened, Zachary would have created an enormous mess for his boss. The boss might even cut ties with him to save himself. That’s why there could be no delay in leaving.

As for Caroline? She brought this on herself. After all, she had already been used up by so many men, completely ruined and disgusting. Zachary didn’t even feel like touching her anymore. It was just as well she could “entertain” his men instead. Zachary had overheard his subordinates gossiping once. They mentioned sneaking into the basement to watch him with Caroline, calling her all sorts of filthy names. He hadn’t cared at the time. Sure, they’d seen, but none of them would dare act without his permission. Besides, what’s a man without an appetite? But this time, Caroline was in for some real punishment. His men had been in training for years—she wouldn’t last a minute before they wore her out. Serves her right. That’s what she got for sneaking around with younger guys.

Downstairs, Zachary’s men surrounded Caroline eagerly, unable to contain themselves.

“Hah! Who’d have thought we’d get this woman in our hands one day?”

“Right? This is one hell of an opportunity.”

“Remember how wild she was in the basement with Zachary? Damn, that was something else!”

“Exactly. We’ve seen Zachary with plenty of women, but none of them compare to her. She’s the filthiest of them all!”

“Hahaha! Well, now she’s ours. We can do whatever we want with her tonight. Let’s enjoy ourselves!”

“Absolutely! Zachary said we could do anything we want as long as we don’t go too far. Time to have some fun!”

“Let’s head to the basement. Since we’re leaving this place anyway, we might as well make the most of it!”

They pawed at Caroline greedily while plotting their next move.

“No, you can’t do this to me!” Caroline cried desperately. “What if Zachary changes his mind? He’ll come back for me, and then you’ll all be in trouble!”

Caroline saw their expressions and felt true fear for the first time. She felt like a lamb being thrown into the den of starving wolves, and these wolves looked like they hadn’t eaten in a very long time.

“Hahaha! She still thinks Zachary will come back for her?”

“What a joke! That’s Zachary we’re talking about. He doesn’t need you.”

“Exactly. You betrayed him for some pretty boy. Zachary hates betrayal more than anything. He’s done with you.”

“That’s right. Now, be a good girl and let us enjoy ourselves!”

Laughing, they grabbed Caroline and dragged her to the basement.

“No! Stop! Please, no!”

Caroline fought with everything she had, trying to run, but she was no match for trained men. She barely took a step before they caught her and dragged her back into the basement.

“Tsk, tsk. Scream all you want. Even if Zachary heard, he wouldn’t come to save you.”

“Exactly. Stop struggling. We know what kind of woman you are. Soon enough, you’ll be begging us for it!”
