Listen to this chapter:

Miranda was finally back. She wore Hansel's favorite sexy nightgown, her intoxicating scent as alluring as he remembered. This time, he wouldn't let her go. He fiercely flipped her over, pinning her beneath him and kissing her furiously. "Mimi… Mimi…" he murmured. She forgave him. Their passion lasted all night, finally ending several hours later. Hansel fell back asleep, satisfied.

He woke the next morning with a throbbing headache, a sharp pain like needles stabbing his temples. Then, his elbow touched something warm. He froze. Ingrid lay beside him, naked under the covers. Her neck was covered in red marks; her cheeks were flushed crimson. She had clearly been made love to.

Hansel shook his head, sensual memories of the previous night flooding his mind. He slapped his forehead in frustration. How could he have been so easily manipulated? Ingrid had already awakened. Feeling his movement, she slowly opened her eyes, feigning surprise before blushing. She pursed her lips and hugged him from behind. "Dear, it hurt badly last night. I kept saying no, but you wouldn't stop—"

Hansel frowned, interrupting. "What the hell happened last night?" Before the sensual memories, all he recalled was Miranda walking away without looking back. He couldn't remember getting home or ending up in bed with Ingrid.

Seeing his expression, Ingrid's gaze flickered. Tears welled up. "You collapsed in the rain yesterday, so I called a cab. I took care of you. I was leaving, but you pulled me back, wouldn't let me go. You forced me onto the bed… I screamed in pain, but you ignored me." She bit her lip, looking up at him with fluttering eyelashes and a pitiful expression.

Chapter 0091

"Last night… was my first time. You're my first love, my first man. I only wanted to be with you. That's why I found you. If you want to break up, I'll leave. I'm not clingy…"

She pulled back the covers, picking up her clothes from the floor and crying as she dressed. Hansel's head pounded. Ingrid's bowed head revealed the bright red hickeys on her neck, a silent accusation. Her trembling hands struggled to fasten her bra. She shivered like a stray cat in the rain.

Hansel relented. "Let's forget the breakup. Get dressed. I'll shower, then take you back to university."

After he shut the bathroom door, Ingrid's pitiful expression vanished, replaced by a gleeful smile. Long before he woke, she'd replaced the nightgown—a nightgown that would have proven she'd intentionally seduced him. Wearing Miranda's clothes had been incredibly effective. If she was going to play this game, she'd play it to win.
