Chapter 489: Support Me
Hayleyโs POV:
Kirsty froze for a moment, her brows furrowing as a flash of panic flickered in her eyes. But she quickly regained her composure and defensively said, โI get it now. Youโre saying that because you thought I was trying to blind you, thatโs why you changed the script onstage, right?โ
โHayley, itโs bad enough that youโre so vicious, but to make it seem like everyone else is as ruthless as you? How low can you go?โ
โWith all the new students sitting in the audience and so many leaders around, if I had hurt you, I wouldโve been sentenced and demoted to an ordinary werewolf. Do you think Iโd do something like that?โ
โJust because of your suspicions, you added a scene that ruined the whole play. Donโt you think youโve gone too far?โ She shamelessly turned the blame onto me.
There was no reaction from anyone in the room. What should have been a celebration of the successful performance was now overshadowed by Kirstyโs endless complaints, draining half my good mood. I thought to myself, compared to her, they should be more inclined to support me. After all, this is one of the worldโs top-tier universities. Iโm sure the students around me arenโt idiots. The high-ranking werewolf students must have realized by now what kind of person Kirsty is.
I couldnโt be bothered to waste more time on her. With a cold glance, I turned and left through the side door. As the main performer of the show, I didnโt have much time to prepare, so I needed to hurry and get to Christineโs dressing room to grab my mask.
Meanwhile, Benjamin and Christopher had recognized Hayley in her witch costume and were getting up from the VIP seats to celebrate backstage with her. They searched around but couldnโt find her in the dressing room. Knowing she didnโt like noisy crowds, they decided to check the back door. As they neared the door, they overheard voices and instinctively quieted their steps.
Outside, Kirsty was cautiously scanning the area to make sure no one was watching. Once she was sure, she handed a long black garbage bag wrapped around something to a man. The man took it with a respectful attitude and asked, โMs. Sullivan, has it been used?โ
Kirsty snapped, โDonโt say a word. Sheโs figured it out and managed to slip away. All that effort I put into this was wasted. One day, Iโll ruin Hayleyโs filthy Omega face for good!โ

Gaze soft as he looked at Kirsty.
Kirsty scoffed and retorted, โI want Hayley dead, gone from this world forever. Can you do that for me?โ
โErmโฆโ The man hesitated.
Kirsty sneered, โYouโre all talk! How could someone like you, a half-blood, pull off something I canโt even do?โ She gave the man a disdainful glance, then turned and headed back. Just as she stepped into the door, she ran right into Benjamin and Christopher.
โWhen did you guys get here?โ Kirsty stammered, visibly nervous.
Christopher, hands in his pockets, narrowed his eyes dangerously at her and said, โSeems like quite a problem with Hayley?โ
Back in the hall, the judges were scoring the play, and Christine, as the host, took the stage once more.
โDear friends, the play has come to an end, and tonightโs event is also nearing its close. Now, let us welcome todayโs special guest, who will perform Harmonyโs โAll zeros,โ bringing this evening to a perfect conclusion.โ
The lights in the entire venue suddenly dimmed, and the spotlight, in sync with the music, landed precisely in the center of the stage. Under the gaze of countless spectators, Hayley stepped onto the stage, dressed in a white shoulder-length dress and high heels, her fox mask perched on her face. Her model-like figure, perfect proportions, and flowing long hair cascading down her shoulders made her look like a goddess descending to earth.
โTake me to your heartโฆโ Her voice was captivating and beautiful, drawing the audience in with every note.
Suddenly, someone gasped, โCould that voice be from Harmony?โ
