“Don’t get ahead of yourself, you bastard!” Mr. Wangley shouted angrily. “Remember, Mr. Harmon isn’t the only one poisoned. Without my antidote, you won’t live past tomorrow!”
“Is that so? Wanna bet who kicks the bucket first?” Dustin chuckled.
“Why you—!” Mr. Wangley was speechless.
It was obvious Quentin would succumb first. This is why Mr. Wangley suggested a draw, but Quentin refused.
“Hurry up and give me the antidote, Dustin! We’ll count this as a loss!” Quentin grudgingly yielded. If the pain weren't unbearable, he never would have conceded to a "puny ant" like Dustin.
“You can’t just say you’ve lost. Where’s the sincerity, Mr. Harmon?” Dustin teased, shaking his head.
“Don’t test me, Rhys!” Quentin roared.
“When you make mistakes, you admit them, right? Are you saying you can’t even do that?” Dustin pressed, unafraid.
“Oh, so you want me to get down on my knees and admit my mistakes to you? What makes you think you’re fucking worthy of that?” Quentin sneered, his expression turning cold.
“Of course, I’m not worthy. I guess you’ll have to get rid of the poison yourselves, then,” Dustin replied with a shrug.
“Are you threatening me?” Quentin scowled.
“Goodness, no. I’m just returning the favor,” Dustin replied calmly.
“Enough! Everyone stop this farce at once!” Jessica screamed. “Give Quentin the antidote, Dustin! Otherwise, you’ll be responsible if anything happens to him!”
“With all due respect, ma’am, I consider my promises binding. Since I made a promise, I will fulfill it,” Dustin replied plainly.
“What are you talking about? Why are you making enemies of the Harmons?” Jessica snapped, her pretty face now stone cold. She expected Dustin to back down, but he was insensitive.

“Can you cut the act? You said nothing when Quentin bullied Dustin, so why are you helping him now? Do you even have a shred of dignity?” Natasha interjected.
“Why are you speaking for an outsider when Quentin is your cousin?” Jessica frowned.
“I speak for the truth, not blood relations!” Natasha declared righteously. “Quentin started this, so he’s getting what he deserves. As outsiders, we should just watch.”
“Why you—!” Jessica growled, angry at her daughter’s outburst. Despite her attempts, she couldn't control Natasha. She was a thorn in her side.
“This is the last time I’m asking, Rhys! Are you giving me the antidote or not?” Quentin demanded, gritting his teeth.
“And I’ll reply the same way. Kneel and apologize first,” Dustin stated flatly.
“Fine! Fine!” Quentin conceded, a sinister look on his face. “I’ll kneel, but are you sure you want the consequences?” he growled, his expression murderous.
“I’ll need to see it first.” Dustin smiled mockingly.
“Fine! I hope you don’t regret this!” Quentin shouted through clenched teeth. After a two-second hesitation, he dropped to his knees with a heavy “thud.” His death glare was fixed on Dustin; humiliating him publicly was tantamount to asking for death.
“He’s knelt. Are you satisfied, Dustin? Give him the antidote!” Jessica snapped. Humiliating Quentin Harmon was humiliating the entire family. How dare a measly doctor humiliate a Harmon?
“Here. Bottoms up.” Dustin said, producing a small, white vial and pouring the powdery contents into a cup of tea.
“Is that Hexanavir?” Mr. Wangley thought to himself.
