Chapter 134
“You dare hit someone from Boulderthorn? You must be tired of living!” Troy’s gaze instantly turned cold and unfriendly. Troy and Oliver were as close as brothers; any harm to one was an affront to the other.
Tina’s eyes lit up with hope at the sight of Oliver and Troy. “Save me! Save me!” she cried, regaining some of her energy.
“Don’t worry, Ms. Hummer. With me and Oliver here, this guy won’t harm you!” Troy assured her confidently.
But before he finished speaking, Dustin delivered another brutal slap, sending Tina sprawling across the table. Without hesitation, he proved Troy wrong.
“You—!” Oliver exploded with fury, momentarily caught off guard by Dustin’s unpredictable actions. “You bastard! You’re dead meat! Your entire family will be dead! These two are the best fighters in Boulderthorn. You’re just trash in front of them! I’ll let them break all your limbs before torturing you myself!” Tina sneered, her face contorted with vengeful rage as she shakily rose.
“Boulderthorn?!” The name caused a fresh wave of whispers. Everyone knew the name; Boulderthorn was one of the top two guilds in South City. Its disciples were renowned for incredible strength and skill—capable of moving mountains with a kick. The top disciples, however, were on a whole other level, possessing unparalleled prowess and finesse. One could wipe out an entire room.
“Who would’ve thought people from Boulderthorn are here? Looks like this fellow is really dead meat.”
“Well deserved! Anyone making a ruckus here pays the ultimate price!”
“Kid, if I were you, I’d be on my knees begging for forgiveness. If you’re lucky, you might live.”
The crowd buzzed with whispered opinions on the unfolding scene. From their perspective, Dustin was skilled in lightning magic, but against top Boulderthorn disciples, he stood no chance.
“So what if I’m from Boulderthorn? No one stops me from doing what I want,” Dustin replied coldly, unafraid.
“Bastard! You’re crazy! If I hadn’t gone easy on you last time, do you think you could’ve gotten away unscathed?” Oliver raged.
“Oliver, let me handle it.” Troy approached Dustin with a darkened face, but Oliver stopped him. “Wait, do we really need to do this? This guy isn’t even from a guild. If we accidentally kill him, won’t people spread rumors about Boulderthorn bullying others?”
He signaled the two bodyguards. “Anna, Emma, get rid of that punk! Don’t hold back!”
“Yes, Sir!” The women drew their swords. Two days earlier, they’d been unprepared and defeated by Dustin. This time, they wouldn’t make the same mistake.
“Mr. Williams! That bastard isn’t an easy target. Aren’t you underestimating him by sending only those two?” Tina questioned suspiciously.
“Don’t worry, Ms. Hummer. They’re highly skilled, trained by my father. Defeating him is nothing for them!” Oliver said confidently, though privately admitting they were even more skilled than he was.
“Alright! Then I’m counting on you for revenge!” Tina smirked.
“No problem!” At Oliver’s signal, the women sprang into action, flanking Dustin. Their swords shimmered with deadly precision.
Just when everyone thought Dustin was finished…
With a loud “Clang!”, both swords shattered. The impact sent the women flying across the room like ragdolls. Blood sprayed from their mouths as they fell unconscious.
