Chapter 137

The rain fell harder. Edwin was conversing with Fletcher at the Hummer Villa.

“Mr. Hummer, the first batch of Eternumax has sold out. Furthermore, we received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Many people are interested in long-term partnerships. We can now mass-produce this product!” Fletcher reported excitedly.

“That’s the secret recipe, alright. Who would have thought it would receive such great feedback right after its debut?” Edwin laughed joyfully.

He initially thought it would take time for people to accept the product. He hadn't expected this opportunity to arise so quickly. He needed to strike while the iron was hot.

“Speaking of which, we should be grateful to the Harmon family. Without their years of painstaking research, we wouldn't have this in our hands,” Fletcher grinned.

“Natasha was foolish to fight me! I will defeat her once and for all with Eternumax!” Edwin said happily.

“Then I congratulate Sir Hummer in advance on your success!” Fletcher clapped.

“Alright, it’s getting late. Time to join Tina’s party. If I’m late, she’ll complain.”

Just as Edwin stood up, grinning—

An old butler burst into the room frantically, exclaiming, “Sir! Bad news! Ms. Hummer has been beaten up!”

“What? Beaten up? What happened?!” Edwin frowned. Who dared to touch his daughter?

“A child caused trouble at the party. He beat Ms. Hummer half to death in front of everyone! She’s been sent to Hummers Hospital,” the butler reported hurriedly.

Hummers Hospital, under the Hummers’ supervision, was one of Swinton’s top hospitals. Its doctors were global medical elites who served the Hummer family.

“Go! To the hospital!” Edwin immediately rushed there with several people.

However, upon entering the hospital ward, his eyes widened in disbelief at the horrifying scene.

His daughter, Tina, lay nearly lifeless on the bed. Her face was unrecognizable, a mangled and gory mess. Her limbs were even worse, brutally torn, her bones shattered beyond repair.

“Who?! Who did this?!” Edwin roared like a crazed lion. No one had ever dared to touch his daughter.

“Sir Hummer, we believe it was a man named Dustin.”

An injured bodyguard then explained the events to Edwin. His expression darkened.

“That son of a bitch again! He keeps ruining my day! I’ll cut him to pieces! Guards! Get me the best trackers and find him. I want him captured alive!” Edwin clenched his fists, gritting his teeth. “Also, kill the entire Nicholson family! I want them all dead!”

“Yes, Sir!” The group scattered.

“Sir Hummer, that guy’s skill is unmatched. No one could face him,” Fletcher said. He’d been slapped by Dustin and remained traumatized.

“What are you saying?” Edwin turned.

“I suggest summoning the White Dragon guild. Their members are top-notch fighters. They should handle him,” Fletcher suggested.

“White Dragon guild? Don’t you think that’s overkill for a nobody?” Edwin narrowed his eyes. The White Dragon guild was his secret weapon, not to be used lightly.

“Sir Hummer, this isn’t just a normal fighter. He has the Harmon family supporting him. For safety, we must summon the White Dragon guild. It’s the best choice,” Fletcher advised seriously.

After a moment’s thought, Edwin decided, “Alright! Contact the White Dragon Guild immediately. Get me the best fighters!” Whoever harmed his daughter would pay the ultimate price!

Meanwhile, at Java Joys:

“What? Dustin caused trouble at the Hummers’ party? And he beat Tina to a pulp?” Natasha was shocked by her sister’s words.

“Yes! Dustin’s insane! He beat her up in front of everyone! He even tore her limbs apart! He’s on another level!” Ruth said excitedly.

“He doesn’t seem irrational. How could he do this?” Natasha was puzzled.

“Probably because of that girl! After the Nicholson’s public shaming, he sought revenge,” Ruth explained, sharing every detail.

“No wonder,” Natasha nodded.

Chapter 137 (continued)

“Sis, aren’t you mad at all?” Ruth was surprised.

“Why should I be?” Natasha asked.

“Dustin made such a grand gesture for that woman. There are clearly lingering feelings. Aren’t you bothered?” Ruth asked bluntly.

“Dummy, they just divorced. Lingering feelings are inevitable. If Dustin hadn’t acted, I’d have lost respect for him,” Natasha said unconcernedly.

“Sis, I don’t get you. I couldn’t let it go if a man I liked had lingering feelings for other women,” Ruth scratched her head.

“The ball is in their court. I believe Dustin won’t let me down,” Natasha smiled. Dustin’s pride wouldn’t let him repeat the same mistake.

“I hope so. I’d much prefer Dustin as my brother-in-law than Tyler,” Ruth muttered.

“Enough. Nothing is set in stone. Tell the others to keep an eye on Dustin. If he’s in danger, help him immediately!” Natasha ordered.

“Okay!” Ruth nodded and left.

They both knew Edwin wouldn’t let this go easily. War was inevitable…
