Chapter 229

Nobody expected Dustin to suddenly attack someone from the Boulderthorn Guild. Had he lost his mind?

“Dustin, are you out of your mind? How dare you attack Mr. Williams’ son! Do you have a death wish?” Jessica glared at him, a mixture of shock and fury in her eyes. Attacking Brody was equivalent to challenging the Boulderthorn Guild.

“You may have a death wish, but the rest of us don’t! Mr. Williams isn’t someone you can afford to offend!” Quentin bellowed. While he wanted Dustin in trouble, he didn't want to perish with him.

“Dustin, you’ve really done it now!” Even Ruth looked panicked. The Boulderthorn Guild was too powerful; even the Harmon family wouldn't survive their retaliation.

“He’s nothing but a piece of trash. What does it matter if I attacked him?” Dustin said coolly.

“You—you’re so thickheaded!” Jessica glared at him.

At this moment, Brody finally freed himself from the vase. Compared to his previous dignified appearance, he looked disheveled, his face red and swollen from the slap and confinement. “How dare you lay a hand on me, you brat!” he bellowed, pointing at Dustin. He'd never been on the receiving end of a beating; he was always the one doing the beating.

“So what if I did? Do you really think no one has the nerve to teach you a lesson just because you throw the Boulderthorn Guild’s name around?” Dustin scoffed.

“You’re dead!” Brody’s blood boiled. He raised a fist and swung it at Dustin. Earlier, Dustin had caught him off guard; now, Brody knew what to expect.

Dustin snorted, easily catching the fist before kicking Brody in the stomach. Brody howled in pain, falling to his knees and curling into a ball on the floor.

“Dustin, stop it!” Jessica’s expression changed drastically. Wasn’t one attack on Brody enough? He was digging his own grave!

“Hell! Capture that psycho!” Quentin roared. At his words, the security guards in the room brandished their electric batons.

“I’d like to see you try!” Natasha barged into the room. Her domineering aura stopped everyone.

“Natasha, thank goodness you’re here,” Jessica said grimly. “This man attacked a member of the Boulderthorn Guild in public. He’s unforgivable!”

“That’s right! Keeping him is like keeping a ticking time bomb. We should get rid of him right now,” Quentin snarled.

“I’ve heard about everything. I don’t think Dustin did anything wrong,” Natasha said calmly.

“What?” Jessica was taken aback. “Natasha, have you lost your mind? How can he not be wrong when he attacked a member of the Boulderthorn Guild?”

Natasha said calmly, “He had valid reasons. Brody was using the Boulderthorn Guild’s influence to coerce us into giving up what belonged to us. Doesn’t he deserve to be beaten up? If everyone threw their weight around and used a measly amount of money to buy our shares, we might as well give them Harmon Pharmaceuticals for free!”

The others were speechless.
