Chapter 26

Dustin entered the building and methodically eliminated everyone he encountered. His opponents were no match for him, each falling within seconds.

“You want revenge, but you don’t know who I am?” Dustin advanced on Trevor, his eyes icy.

“Damn it! Stay back, or I’ll kill you!” Trevor pulled a gun from his drawer.

But Dustin lunged forward, seizing the barrel before Trevor could raise the weapon. He then wrested the gun away.

A metallic groan echoed.

Trevor was shocked. Dustin had twisted the gun's barrel—a gun made of iron! How could he manipulate it as if it were mud?

“Mr. Rhys, it’s a misunderstanding! I swear I’ll leave you alone if you let me go!” Trevor broke into a cold sweat, surrendering. Dustin’s power was beyond anything ordinary. No wonder Hunter, a big shot, showed him such respect.

“You won’t bother me, but I will bother you.” Dustin grabbed Trevor’s shoulder and violently twisted his arm, breaking it with a crack.

“Argh!” Trevor screamed.

“How dare you touch my woman?” Dustin remained impassive, breaking Trevor’s other arm.

Trevor sweated profusely, his face pale. The others in the room trembled, none daring to approach Dustin.

“F***! Do you know who supports me? Edwin Hummer! Leader of Swinton’s Mighty Three! If you kill me, Hummer will tear you apart!” Facing death, Trevor desperately invoked his patron’s name.

“Are those your last words?” Dustin frowned, amused. He threw Trevor to the ground. “If you have nothing else to say, you can die now.”

“No! Don’t kill me! Please! I have power, influence, and money. Anything you want, I’ll give it to you—just don’t kill me!” Trevor spat blood, collapsing and pleading frantically. He was terrified.

“Power and influence? That reminds me of something.” Dustin scanned the room, fixing his gaze on a man in a brightly colored outfit standing in a corner. “You must be his henchman, being at his side.”

The man nodded fearfully, without speaking.

“Good. Kill him, and all his assets are yours.” Dustin kicked a knife lying near his feet toward the man.

The man stared at the knife, then his eyes hardened.

“No…”

Before Trevor could say more, the man plunged the knife into his chest. Blood spurted.

Trevor’s eyes widened as he collapsed. He died still unaware of whom he had offended.

“Sir, I’ve killed him.”

“Trevor is quite influential in East City. Now that he’s dead, do you think you can handle the situation?” Dustin asked calmly. Having chosen his path, Dustin intended to train the man.

“Don’t worry, sir. I can handle it!” the man said confidently.

“Oh? You sound confident.” Dustin frowned, slightly surprised. “Let me ask you. What is your position in the Drey Group?”

The man didn’t answer immediately. Instead, he pointed at the pool of blood where Trevor lay. “He’s my father.”
