Chapter 116

Odalys secured a row of weeds with a knot, then tied the straw rope in two places on either side of the roof. Finally, she asked Stellan to collect stones and place them on the rope.

"OK. Done," Odalys said, jumping off the roof.

Freya and Selah rushed forward to catch her, but Odalys landed steadily, without stumbling.

Across the yard, Francis watched from the darkness. "She's good," he murmured, slightly dumbfounded. Initially, he'd despised her at the airport, assuming her popularity was hype. He hadn't expected such skill. Her actions had revealed her extraordinary abilities.

Finnian joined him. "Fortunately, we picked a good house. Otherwise, tonight would have been difficult," he said, gazing at Odalys with a complicated, envious expression.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Atlas showered, leaving Sophia alone. She watched the photographer leave for the restroom, then quickly retrieved something from her bag, lit it, and tossed it into a cup.

The livestream chat exploded:

  • "[What is she doing? What did she just burn?]"
  • "[I just rewound—it looked like a yellow talisman. Am I wrong?]"
  • "[What is she up to! Something feels off.]"
  • "[Does she think there are no cameras because the photographer's gone? Last time on the island, there were hidden cameras everywhere. Hasn't she learned her lesson?]"

Viewers were initially captivated by Odalys, only realizing later that Sophia had burned a talisman. Silence fell as they watched her burn the talisman, place it in the cup, add water, and then carry it outside to Finnian and Francis.

Sophia stood thoughtfully, then poured another glass of water before approaching them.

"Drink some water. Don't catch a cold," she offered.

Francis accepted the water but didn't drink it. Finnian took a sip, grimacing. "What kind of water is this? It's bitter."

Sophia chuckled softly. "It's a special coffee. It wards off colds."

Finnian noticed the liquid in Francis's cup looked different. As he started to pour his out, Sophia looked at him pitifully, her eyes welling with tears.

"Are you pouring it out because I gave it to you?" she asked, biting her lip.

The livestream chat buzzed again:

  • "[Finnian, don't drink it! Something's wrong!]"
  • "[Sophia's so bold! Is she drugging him?!]"

Sophia's fans were stunned into silence, horrified by her actions. They couldn't justify what she'd done. Only Finnian's fans continued to comment.

Outside, the lights were dim. Finnian hesitated, but seeing Sophia's distress, he drank the liquid in one gulp.

"I knew you were the best," Sophia said, quickly snatching the empty glass, fearing he'd notice the residue.

"I think I've caught a cold. I'll rest," Finnian said, entering the room.

With only two rooms, Sophia took one, leaving the three men to share the other—a sparsely furnished space where they slept on the floor.

Chapter 116 (continued)

After Finnian left, Sophia turned to Francis, who took a half-step back, wary.

"It's inconvenient for a man and a woman to talk alone. You should go," Francis said, setting his cup down. He left for the renovated house next door.

"It's not bad at all. When we arrived, it was old. But after they worked on it, it's like new. And during the day, it won't be too hot," Francis said incredulously.

Stellan, initially dismissive, shrugged. "Odalys is amazing, isn't she?" he said, entering the house and barring Francis's entry. "Sorry, it's too late. Not convenient."

"I'll come back tomorrow," Francis replied, leaving as lightning flashed and a downpour began. The production team quickly departed.

The renovated house, now fully furnished, housed the three girls in one room, with a small space for Stellan and a shared bathroom.

"Stellan, you shower first," Odalys said. Stellan, noticing his dirty clothes, readily agreed.

Odalys and the other girls returned to their room and settled onto the bed.

"We can finally sleep together again!" Freya exclaimed, playfully pouncing on Odalys. She nuzzled Odalys's face. "Your skin is so soft!"

Selah joined in. "Me too!"

Odalys, helplessly allowing their affection, said, "You're responsible for me now that you've touched my face."

They laughed, continuing until Odalys playfully flipped them onto the bed, sending them scrambling away.

"You teased me and ran?" Odalys laughed, chasing them.

Selah and Freya, laughing so hard they could barely stand, begged for a moment to recover.

Odalys glanced out the window, noticing a fleeting figure, clearly not from the production team or Group A.

The livestream chat reacted:

  • "[What did I just see?! Someone peeking?!]"
  • "[Someone flashed past! A pervert?!]"
  • "[Did Odalys see it? I hope she's careful.]"
  • "[Oh my god, I'm terrified! Peeping on a stormy night!]"

The room was equipped with hidden cameras, operating 24/7 except during clothing changes, ensuring safety and security—a fact unknown to the celebrities, except Odalys.

Freya, noticing Odalys's expression, asked, "What are you looking at?"
