Chapter 298

Blossom stood with disheveled hair, her eyes bloodshot with madness. She held a dagger, slashing fiercely at her face.

"Blossom, no!" Celeste gasped, rushing forward. She heard Blossom mutter, "Give me back my mirror."

Harvey's eyes widened as Blossom raised the dagger again. They couldn't stop her, but just as the blade touched her cheek, something fell from the sky, knocking the dagger away.

Hearing a car, Harvey saw a vehicle with the license plate "S-AB" parked outside. He froze, staring in disbelief. It was the Stewarts' car. He quickly opened the door.

Odalys emerged from the passenger seat, her expression grave. Celeste saw her as a lifesaver.

Odalys strode forward, a thick rope in her hand. With a flick of her wrist, the rope bound Blossom, flinging her to the ground.

"Let me go! Give me back the mirror! The mirror!" Blossom screamed like a madwoman. Her piercing voice echoed through the night.

Celeste saw blood and tears streaming down Blossom's face. She rushed to Odalys, asking worriedly, "Mrs. Stewart, what's going on? Why is she crying blood?"

"She's been in contact with these things too long, allowing the evil energy to invade her body," Odalys explained in a low voice. "Coupled with the wicked energy around your house tonight, it drove her mad."

Celeste listened, biting her lip in fear, but she didn't dare scream. "Please help us," she said respectfully. Odalys's actions were far calmer than Oliver's earlier behavior.

"Step back. No matter what happens, don't come near me," Odalys said coldly.

Celeste nodded quickly, her voice trembling. "Yes!" She took a few steps back, her eyes fixed on Blossom, who struggled like a demon, twisting and thrashing to break free. Blood and tears streamed down her face. "I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" Blossom yelled.

The rope snapped. Blossom froze, then lunged at Odalys, hands outstretched. Harvey instinctively moved forward, but Percival grabbed his arm.

"Don't go over there," Percival said huskily.

Blossom's fingertips oozed blood. She raised her hand and pinched Odalys's neck. Everyone held their breath.

A flash of lightning struck Blossom, her eyes widening in astonishment. Lightning struck again, and her body shook.

Odalys grabbed Blossom's disheveled hair and, with a snip of her scissors, cut it off. She threw the hair to the ground. It transformed into a nest of small snakes, mouths open, hissing towards Odalys. With a backhand flick, a searing sound was heard as the snakes ignited in flames. The air filled with a burning smell.

Lightning struck Blossom again, stunning her. Her body convulsed, and she spat blood. Odalys flung the blood away. The three people behind her watched in shock.

The gloomy feeling in the courtyard vanished instantly, the dark clouds dissipating. The visible wicked energy dissipated with a scream.

Everyone held their breath, especially Harvey and Celeste. Odalys seemed to be enveloped in light. She strode forward, holding up the fallen Blossom. Blossom's scarlet eyes gradually cleared.

"Blossom!" Celeste was the first to recover, rushing forward but hesitating. She asked softly, "Mrs. Stewart, how is she?" Her voice choked with sobs as she looked at the blood on Blossom's lips, but she didn't dare disturb Odalys.

"The evil spirit is removed. She'll be fine when she wakes up," Odalys said, letting Blossom fall gently onto the grass.

Harvey rushed forward. Seeing Blossom's pale face and the blood, his heart pounded. He asked softly, "Mrs. Stewart, is it over?"

Odalys wiped the blood from her fingertips, slowly standing. "Don't move her. Let her lie here until she wakes up. This tree, left by your ancestors, is a treasure. Its energy field gathers spiritual energy at night. She's weak; lying here will help her recover."

Harvey and Celeste were surprised. They hadn't expected the old tree to be so powerful.

"A century-old tree is different," Odalys added. "It attracts and absorbs spiritual energy. Your family's energy field relies on this tree. It's best not to let outsiders in."

Harvey listened gravely. "Mr. Carline came, but we didn't let him in. He seemed to want to enter, but couldn't," Harvey said, expressing his doubts. Oliver's uninvited visit and Odalys' warning prompted them to refuse entry.

"He likely has his sights set on your family's energy field," Odalys said. "Sophia's Love Spell is probably related to him. He's likely responsible for your daughter's state."

Celeste's face darkened. "That old thing came with bad intentions," she said angrily, grateful she hadn't let him in. She then asked, puzzled, "Mrs. Stewart, why is Blossom fine after being struck by lightning three times?"
