Chapter 370

"You were outnumbered, and after your defeat, you died on horseback," Odalys said coldly. "But they were bandits. You stubbornly refused to accept your family's downfall, refusing to leave this place. You were trapped, unable to face reality. When you saw people acting in the play, you assumed they were here to seize your family's ancestral home, and that's when you tried to interfere."

The man seemed taken aback, his eyes clouded with confusion.

She dipped her fingertip in magic dust and pressed it to his forehead. Strange yet familiar images flooded his mind: a vast mansion, flames rising high into the night sky. He returned on horseback alone, unleashing a massacre, only to be slain on horseback, his arms impaled, blood pouring uncontrollably. The images rushed in like a movie, showing him harming passersby in brutal ways—scenes so graphic they nearly suffocated him.

"No, that's not what happened. I didn't," he muttered softly.

Odalys tilted her head, observing his unease and panic. "You came back to find your fiancée, thinking she must have been killed by this family. But in reality, she fell into a ravine while on her way to find you, dying at the riverbank," Odalys continued.

As she spoke, her fingertip touched a talisman, sparking it into flames in midair. A figure appeared, running down a path, chased by a wild dog. She fell off a cliff, her foot slipping, her head hitting the ground. Bright red blood stained the clear river water, swirling and vanishing as the current carried it away.

"No, that's not true," the man struggled, frozen in place.

In his agony, Odalys gently lifted him and pushed him into the vision. He fell beside the woman's body. A figure appeared beside him, meeting his gaze. Their eyes locked, and they embraced tightly, memories flooding back. Everything they had missed before the time travel was replayed in their minds.

"Don't stay here anymore. If you want, I can send you back through time travel," Odalys whispered softly.

The man suddenly fell to his knees, crying bitterly. "I've hurt so many people…I don't deserve to go back."

"You were a major general before time travel, fighting abroad and doing a lot of good for the people. I will help you this once, because you only hurt people, but didn't cause any deaths," she said.

He tried to speak, but Odalys continued, "I will take revenge on your family for you."

He was stunned, surprised that she had guessed his thoughts.

The man remained silent for a long time, Odalys staying by his side without a word. Finally, Odalys spoke softly, "Don't make her wait another hundred years. Being a lost soul is pitiful. She's been waiting for you by this cold river for over a hundred years, never willing to leave."

"If you trust me, go back through time travel, and I'll avenge your family." As she spoke, her fingertips dug into her palm. The pain sharpened her senses. She had suspected this might happen when Damon first approached her, asking for her help with the opening. She had sensed that the Filin Capital was on the brink of collapse. Some big players even considered investing money to rebuild it. They couldn't continue filming there. When Heroic Era announced they wanted to shoot there, it drew mockery within the industry. People believed Damon's efforts were bound to fail. Because of this, Ikon had to take on the pressure and asked Odalys for her help. That was when he asked her for star readings, offering her resources. He hired Magic Entertainment's actors to break the curses. This was his last gamble.

Chapter 371

"If the drama succeeded, his company could go public. If it failed, bankruptcy was almost certain," Odalys stated.

"But Damon wouldn't give up; he still believed in taking a chance."

"Okay," the nun said, after much internal struggle. He slowly rose, taking the woman's hand and walking forward. Just as they were about to disappear, he suddenly turned around. "I know who you are. If I get the chance, I will repay you," he said before vanishing into the air.

The scene abruptly froze. A cold breeze swept through, making everyone shiver. When they regained their senses, the horse had disappeared, and even the fallen sword on the ground was gone.

"Hey, wasn't there someone riding a horse just now?" someone calmly asked.

"I saw Odalys lead him to a nearby cliff, where he reunited with a woman. How did they suddenly vanish?"

"Was that man a spirit? I heard that people filming here see spirits at night."

"That man was a major general. So why did his family suddenly fall from grace, and where did they all go? When he rode back, he intended to kill the people who bought his family's ancestral home. Could it be that the ones who bought it killed his family, trying to take over the land?"

Reporters and staff whispered amongst themselves. The atmosphere, which had been cold and quiet, suddenly became lively.

Damon stood beside Odalys, his body shuddering. When he regained his senses, he looked at her in confusion, then glanced around before speaking. "Was that?"

"It's over," Odalys replied with a knowing smile.

Damon met her gaze and gave her a knowing smile.

"Stellan, Freya, Selah, Francis, come out," Odalys called their names.

They heard her voice and gradually came to their senses as if waking from a nightmare. It felt as though something had been pressing down on them, choking them, until Odalys' voice pulled them back from the brink.

"Coming," Freya said, hurrying forward. Stellan and the others followed, taking the talismans she handed them and bowing respectfully. Everything returned to calm.

After the ceremony concluded, they all went to the dressing room to prepare their looks, but Odalys didn't follow.

"Ms. Stone, here's a gift for you," Damon said, handing her a package. Odalys understood it was customary, so she didn't refuse.

After she took the gift, Damon had to leave for something, leaving Odalys standing alone. She stood there, opening her palm to reveal a ring. This was the ring the man had given her before he left, subtly passed into her hand without a sound. It held all of his memories, and the ring was a family heirloom.

"No wonder it led me here. It seems it was all meant to be," Odalys murmured softly. The ring was stained with blood, and over time, the blood had been absorbed, turning it into a blood-red ring. Although the ring appeared smooth, it was actually filled with negative energy, heavy with the resentment of an entire family.

"Odalys," Percival's voice called.

Percival walked toward her with heavy steps, holding a phone in his hand. His expression was anxious, clearly in a hurry. "Look at this," Odalys said, handing him the ring.

Chapter 371 (The numbering was inconsistent in the original text. I've assumed this is a continuation.)

This cleaned-up version corrects grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors, improves sentence structure, and adds paragraph breaks for better readability. Some minor inconsistencies in the original narrative remain (like the sudden appearance of a nun). These are issues of story-telling rather than editing.
