Chapter 483

Odalys froze, and Percival stiffened. Both abruptly turned to look at Blossom, who stood nearby. Then they glanced around the familiar living room, seeing Sienna, Dangelo, Harvey, and Celeste also present. Odalys blinked and quickly pulled away from Percival's embrace.

A sharp "honk" broke the silence, coming from a nearby car. The intense glare of its headlights made them instinctively turn their heads to avoid the blinding light. As the car stopped, they saw Evander and Clarence inside.

Grandpa Orson's eyes widened as he looked at the luxury car. He quickly stepped forward. Inside, the two elderly men sat frozen, staring blankly at the Tillery Villa. After a moment, they exchanged a glance, disbelief etched on their faces.

"We actually made it back," Clarence muttered, his eyes filled with shock.

Evander, convinced he was about to die the moment he stepped out, found himself back. He reached for the car door, but it wouldn't budge; all functions seemed locked.

Percival strode forward, reached inside, and pressed a button. Once the car's functions were reactivated, the doors unlocked with a soft click.

"Grandpa," Percival said quietly.

It took Evander a moment to regain his senses. He looked at Percival, his lips trembling. "I almost got you killed back there," Evander said, his voice tinged with guilt.

Percival said nothing, simply extending his hand to help Evander out. When Evander's feet touched the ground, he felt he had truly returned. Everything earlier had felt like a dream, too surreal to be real.

"Evander," Odalys called softly, stepping forward. She stood before him, the faint glow of a streetlamp elongating her shadow. Her beautiful face, tilted upward, appeared striking against the dark night.

"You saved me," Evander said, his voice bitter. If not for Odalys, he would have died.

Odalys took his arm and, with Percival's help, guided him toward the living room. Harvey and the others watched and quickly spoke. "Since everyone's here, let's start dinner. The food's still warm," Harvey said.

"Yes, yes, let's eat," Sienna added hastily.

The moment Percival and Odalys returned, the eerie fog around the Tillery Villa dissipated, as if it had been an illusion. Had the others not witnessed Odalys and Percival vanish into the fog, had they not been rooted to the spot, trapped in the living room, perhaps they wouldn't have believed it.

Everyone took their seats and began eating, but no one spoke. Orson, unable to contain himself any longer, finally broke the silence. After taking a bite of meat, he asked, "What just happened? Why did Odalys and Percival suddenly disappear into the mist?"

He added, "And, Grandpa, why were your phones out of service? I had someone investigate. After you left Magic Entertainment and headed this way, the car disappeared midway." He couldn't hold it in any longer.

Chapter 481

He had reviewed the surveillance footage after learning the car disappeared. The footage showed a fog appearing halfway through the journey; the same fog that had engulfed the Tillery Villa. Once the car drove into the fog, it vanished without reappearing. This scene was bizarre.

"That was likely a fog formation, and beyond it was a time tunnel," Odalys explained softly.

When the words "time tunnel" were spoken, everyone stopped eating, frozen in shock. They looked up abruptly, instinctively glancing at each other, their eyes filled with shock, as if they'd misheard. After all, this kind of thing only existed in novels and TV shows.

Blossom's eyes lit up with excitement. "Time tunnel, Odalys? Is it what I think it is? A tunnel that can take you to the future or the past?" She immediately put down her fork, her face filled with eagerness as she gazed at Odalys. At this moment, her admiration for Odalys reached its peak. Odalys had always been her role model, extraordinary, seemingly omnipotent, and knowing everything Blossom longed to know.

"You could say that," Odalys replied calmly.

Orson, stunned, dropped the piece of meat he had just picked up into his bowl. He quickly wiped his mouth, his disbelief evident. "Grandpa, did your car vanish in the fog because it drove into the time tunnel?" Orson asked breathlessly, almost tearing up with regret. Just hearing about it was thrilling; he was fuming that he couldn't experience it himself.

"Yes," Clarence answered succinctly.

Hearing this, Orson tilted his head back, covering his forehead with his hand and giving it a few regretful slaps. "Why didn't anyone take me along! I should have gone with Percival earlier!" he lamented, so full of regret he wished he could turn back time. To miss out on such an extraordinary event was maddening.

"Do you think you could have gone in? When Percival walked directly into the fog, you did try to follow him, but you got bounced right back," Blossom retorted without hesitation.

Orson looked embarrassed, even annoyed. "If he could get in because he's a virgin, then so can I! I've never been with a woman either! Why could he go in, and I couldn't? And don't get me wrong, I'm a perfectly upright man," Orson declared, straightening up with a serious expression.

Odalys's mouth twitched, and she instinctively turned her head to glance at him. Faced with everyone's puzzled gazes, Orson straightened his back even further. His face flushed slightly, and he coughed awkwardly. "Maybe I'm just too pure," he muttered.

Blossom was speechless. The moment had lost its original charm.

The food was delicious, but no one was in the mood to eat. Everyone's attention was focused on the mention of the "time tunnel."

"The fog and the time tunnel earlier were probably connected to the Stewart family," Odalys explained. "You're not a Stewart, so you couldn't enter. As for your grandfather, it might be because he's an elder. He treated Percival's father like his own son in the past, so he was an exception and allowed entry." She had a strong feeling that it was the familial bond that pulled them in. There seemed to be an invisible thread tugging them forward.

"This is related to the Stewart family?" Sienna asked, puzzled.

Odalys didn't hold back and recounted what had happened inside the tunnel. Dangelo and Harvey immediately put down their forks, nervously clutching their napkins as they listened intently.

Chapter 483 (Continued)

"Whatever happens in the time tunnel cannot be altered or changed. The way you enter is the way you must leave. If you try to make changes, it will inevitably lead to death," Percival said gravely.

Odalys nodded. "Exactly. Earlier, when Evander tried to get out of the car to save someone, he was nearly burned alive. The air outside the car seemed to form a harmful barrier, attacking him directly."
