Chapter 545

Hannah saw Evander and immediately stood.

"Evander," she said, her voice softening considerably. It was soft and coquettish, as if she were addressing a long-lost lover.

Evander took a few steps, hearing the delicate, flirtatious voice. Goosebumps erupted on his skin. Disbelieving, he glanced around and saw Hannah adjusting her clothes. With a coquettish demeanor, she strode toward him.

He glanced at her, then ignored her, walking toward Magic Entertainment.

"Evander," Hannah called anxiously. She almost lunged at him, but checked herself, needing to maintain her composure.

He shuddered at her repeated call, as if chased by something unclean. He quickened his pace and entered Magic Entertainment.

Seeing this, Dorian strode forward, blocking Hannah's path.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Dorian yelled, his voice hoarse. Hannah, walking too hastily, nearly knocked him down. He raised his belongings as a barrier, preventing her approach. His eyes vigilant, he said, "Please stop harassing us. Mr. Stewart doesn't know you."

Hannah's eyes lit up at the mention of "Mr. Stewart." She quickly produced a wad of cash, thrusting it into Dorian's hands. Taking his arm, she whispered, "Please deliver a message to Mr. Stewart for me. Tell him I need to see him urgently. I'll get a room, and when he arrives, I'll explain everything. It's about Odalys—Odalys's mother. This is a matter of life and death for her, and I think it's necessary to clarify things with the Stewart family. Tell him he must come to the hotel to see me before midnight." She handed him the hotel key card.

Dorian's mind blanked. He found the situation unbelievable: this woman wanted to meet Evander at a hotel, had already booked a room, and claimed it concerned Odalys. Who would conduct business in a hotel room? With a meaningful look, he turned and went inside.

Hannah tried to follow, but realized only those inside were allowed entry. She stood outside, ruthlessness in her eyes. She wished she could rush in and slap Odalys twice. This mess must be Odalys's doing, she thought. I can't believe she's wary of me and the Bennett family.

The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. Her gaze toward Sophia was unkind, as if blaming her for everything.

Chapter 345

Had it not been for Sophia's insistence on not marrying, she wouldn't have forced Odalys to marry Percival.

"Mom, what should we do now?" Sophia panicked, running to Hannah, who deftly avoided her.

"It seems Odalys is planning to turn against us," Hannah said, her eyes red with anger, her hatred unconcealed.

"But what can we do? Is she still angry that I forced her into marrying him and now the Stewart family controls her every move? Or is she still upset about my past with Finnian and the misunderstanding it caused between us?" Sophia choked back tears, unable to cry.

Hannah's ears perked up at the mention of Finnian. She fell into deep thought.

"Find a way to contact Finnian and tell him I have a favor to ask. Now that Odalys hates us, I'll help her get with Finnian. Judging from her state, she's still a virgin," Hannah said, a plan forming.

Sophia listened, her fists clenched tight. She thought of her own lost virginity, contrasting it with Odalys's.

"Mom, are you saying she and Percival haven't slept together? Could you be mistaken? They've been living together for so long. How is it possible she's still a virgin?" Sophia asked, surprised. Could a man hold back that long? Or did Percival dislike Odalys, finding even touching her disgusting? That made sense; Odalys only dealt with ghosts. Men wouldn't desire her.

"Find a chance to ask Finnian out," Hannah ordered, ignoring her question.

Sophia bit her lip, wanting to refuse but fearing Hannah's wrath. She couldn't leave the Bennett Villa yet.

"Okay," she replied quietly. Thinking of Finnian's actions—knocking her unconscious and carrying her away—she shivered, considering him a pervert.

"Don't follow me!" Hannah turned and left, shouting angrily and speeding up when she saw Sophia following.

Sophia remained where she stood, watching Hannah go. She thought of Edie's conversation with Hannah the previous night: their plan to get pregnant with Evander's child, kill Percival, take over, then kill Evander.

"What if that person was me?" Sophia looked toward Magic Entertainment, her thoughts thoughtful. The man didn't matter; wealth, status, and power did. She needed a backer more powerful than the Bennett family.

As she turned to leave, nausea hit. She retched, but nothing came up, her face pale.

Nearby, a group of girls watched.

"Look, Sophia's pregnant! I saw her having flings with so many men on a livestream. I wonder whose child it is," one said.

"Quickly take a video and help her find her husband online!" the others chimed in.

Sophia's expression changed drastically. She recognized two of them as former Twitter fans. The tables had turned, and they now meant to bully her.
