Chapter 596

Atlas looked up at the familiar Bennett Villa, his heart sinking. He wasn't happy about going home.

"Caspian, we're home," Atlas said quickly, nudging Caspian.

Caspian looked upset, his face clouded with anger. Frustrated, he flung open the car door. Vanel exited, and as he did, Sophia pressed close to Caspian's shoulder, saying sweetly, "I'm a little hungry." She traced her fingers lightly across his chest.

Caspian froze, looking away uncomfortably. "I'll get you something to eat later," he said, gently pushing Sophia away.

Caspian opened the passenger door and helped Henry out of the car. The moment his hand made contact, Henry awoke. Their gazes met, and Caspian quickly stepped back, nervously asking, "Henry, you're awake?"

"Ugh," Henry groaned, feeling a sharp pain in his head.

He exited the car and saw Sophia approaching with a smile. She threw her arms around him, saying sweetly, "Henry, you're finally awake! You scared me half to death."

Henry's expression soured as memories flooded his mind. He recalled being knocked unconscious by Sophia, but afterward, everything was a blur.

"Let go of me," Henry said coldly, forcefully pushing her to the ground. He strode toward the Bennett Villa without looking back. Sophia, unangered, picked herself up, exclaiming, "Why is Henry being so mean!" Her coquettish behavior only intensified Caspian's unease.

Caspian quickly averted his gaze and followed Henry into the Bennett Villa. Seeing Caspian had caught up, Henry dragged him into the bathroom and slammed the door shut. Frightened by recent events, Caspian recounted everything that had happened at the nightclub upon seeing Henry's furious expression.

"You're saying I was sold to a nightclub as a gigolo?" Henry found it absurd.

Caspian didn't offer much explanation. Instead, he showed Henry the news featuring videos of him, disheveled and provocatively dressed, being auctioned off at a nightclub.

"Damn it, it must be Sophia's doing," Henry seethed. "I followed her near the police housing complex, but she spotted and attacked me."

Henry was shocked his beloved sister had betrayed him.

"Originally, I wanted to sell her to Elias, that nouveau riche in the East District, to get her away from our family," Caspian explained. "I didn't expect things to turn out this way. She actually killed everyone! I thought we were done for." His hands trembled as he tried, unsuccessfully, to light a cigarette. The thought of enduring another day like this felt unbearable.

"What should we do?" Caspian asked Henry. He couldn't afford to take the lead, deciding to let Henry face the danger while he waited to profit.

"Don't worry. We need to keep her calm for now. I want to see her intentions. Find someone to investigate why Mom and Dad adopted her and abandoned Odalys," Henry instructed.

Caspian nodded.

Reaching a consensus, they opened the bathroom door, only to find Sophia outside, munching on an apple with an innocent look. She said pitifully, "What are you two doing in the bathroom? I'm starving! I want some noodles." Her once alluring smile now sent a chill down their spines.

"I'll make you some," Caspian said, heading toward the kitchen.

Henry stared at Sophia sullenly before walking to the living room. Atlas remained on the sofa, afraid to return to his room.

Suddenly, a scream came from upstairs, followed by Windsor's roar. "I told you not to mess with the Stewart family! I handed the Bennett Group to Henry, and now everything's in shambles!" His voice cracked as he cried. He then dragged Hannah from the room. Her disheveled state and wet hair showed she'd recently showered. She clung to the railing as he pulled at her hair.

"What gives you the right to meddle? We're divorced! Even if I hooked up with Evander, it's none of your business!" Hannah retorted.

They stood in a furious face-off. Then Brandon emerged from Hannah's bedroom, one of his eye sockets empty and bloody. Windsor visibly trembled at his sight.

"You're back," Brandon said calmly, his eyes fixed on Windsor. His words were perplexing.

Windsor clenched his fists as Brandon approached, scrutinizing him. "So, you are back?" Brandon murmured, squinting. He pointed to his empty eye socket. "The crystal ball exploded because the magic zone you set up failed, and it took my eye out."

Windsor remained silent.

"Don't worry, I won't force you," Brandon said, patting his shoulder. Windsor felt a violent churning in his chest and spat out blood. His body shook violently as if some unseen force was pulling him toward a dark abyss. His face ashen, he staggered down the stairs, each step excruciating.

"Dad, what's wrong?" Henry rushed forward, worried, seeing Windsor coughing up blood.
