Seeing her softened expression, something in him shifted. The anger he’d felt moments before melted away, and he rested his head in the curve of her neck.

His voice was a low murmur. “Good girl, just let me. I can’t stop right now. Just give me.”

Elyse trembled. Her mind spun; it felt like he was forcing her. Who asked for help like that?

Jayden was relentless, resorting to his usual tactics.

Elyse knew giving in would only lead to more. One time would turn into another, and another. He was shameless.

While Elyse’s mind wandered, Jayden leaned in, biting her ear gently. He murmured, “If you don’t respond, I’ll take it as a yes.”

“Let go of me! I didn’t agree to this,” she gasped, her voice trembling. “You’re such a jerk. All you ever want is to sleep with me. Can’t you show a little restraint?” Her words were shaky, broken by his movements.

Jayden recalled Aarya’s words. Leaning closer, he whispered, “I don’t hold back because I love you. That’s why I’m acting like this.”

“You bastard!” Elyse spat out between shallow breaths before he became more forceful.

The impact made her head spin. Through the haze, she heard Jayden’s voice, cracking with emotion: “When you were taken from me, it felt like my world fell apart. Elyse, don’t leave me.”

His words were barely audible, yet she heard them clearly.

Suddenly, he didn’t make sense. He claimed he wanted her back, but his actions didn’t convince her.

Still, seeing his vulnerability, something in her responded instinctively. Her body moved closer, almost involuntarily.
