Eden froze, shocked and embarrassed. He thought, 'It was just a joke. Why does she have to be so serious?'

They chatted for a while until he realized Rosalie wasn't affected by the divorce. Relieved, he left.

After he left, Rosalie cleared the dishes. She brushed her teeth and returned to her bedroom, finally allowing herself to contemplate the divorce.

Julian finally signed the divorce agreement, and she relived the nightmare of her preexistence. Nonetheless, it didn't fill the emptiness in her heart. Perhaps that was because all her expectations and the time she'd devoted to him had vanished. She found it difficult to adjust, for the time being. So, she decided to let time heal everything.

With this self-comfort, Rosalie slipped under the blanket. Having just recovered from a high fever and now free from Julian's pressure, she immediately fell asleep.
