Everyone in the room gazed at Calliope, utterly shocked. Though they couldn’t quite grasp what had happened to Zelda, it was clear Calliope had poked her a few times, rendering her speechless and motionless.

At that moment, it dawned on them – Calliope was known as the Miracle Doctor. Were her medical skills really this powerful? With just a few casual jabs, she turned someone into a mute, and another poke made them immobile!

Everyone swallowed hard at the thought. Recalling their earlier opposition, they realized Calliope had shown them mercy. If she’d wanted to, they could all have ended up like wooden statues.

“Mom!” Horatio called out, worried about his mother. His voice was urgent. “Callie, what did you do to her? What’s happening to her?”

Horatio frowned, clearly concerned about Zelda’s state.

“She’s fine,” Calliope replied dismissively, glancing at Zelda. “She’s just temporarily unable to speak or move. She was too noisy and was disrupting our meeting.”

After saying that, Calliope turned to Monty. “Take Zelda away for now. She’ll be back to normal in about three hours.”

“So she really can’t speak or move right now?” Monty asked, seeing his wife’s pleading eyes, seeking confirmation from Calliope.

“Yep,” Calliope responded, barely acknowledging Zelda.

Zelda was furious inside, but unable to move or speak, she could only stew in her frustration. Following Calliope’s instructions, Monty hoisted Zelda up and carried her out.

“Alright, now that it’s quiet, let’s continue.” Calliope glanced around the table.

“Scared? Shocked? I am, after all, the Miracle Doctor – capable of taking a life without lifting a finger. This little trick is nothing to fret over.”

The board members were at a loss for words. If this was a small trick, it was terrifying enough. Everyone sat silently, like chickens in a coop.

Calliope began outlining her plan and what everyone needed to do next.

The rest of the meeting proceeded smoothly. No one dared to oppose her; they nodded to everything she proposed. When she spoke, they nodded. When she finished, they applauded. No one would dare cross Calliope now.

After all, she was the Miracle Doctor, capable of eliminating threats quietly. Crossing her would likely lead to one’s own demise without even realizing it.

“Alright, we’re about done here. I’ve covered everything I needed to. Does anyone have anything to add? If you have any input, speak up now! And if you have better suggestions than what I’ve proposed, feel free to share them. Don’t worry, I’m not in the business of shutting people up. Now’s the time to voice your opinions.”

“Oh, and one more thing I forgot to mention. The gentleman beside me, Franco, will likely be my assistant moving forward. He’ll handle things when I’m here and act on my behalf when I’m not. So, get acquainted, and I hope you all cooperate with him.”

Everyone glanced at Franco. Who would dare offend Franco?
