He did it for two reasons. First, the memory of that walk back from Bacchus Bridge still haunted her, and she feared something might go wrong again. Second, she was worried Josiah might change his mind at the last minute, and with Cedric there, he wouldn’t dare. The car stopped in front of the courthouse. Cedric leaned over and unbuckled Sienna’s seatbelt. He spoke softly. “Do you want me to come in with you? “Not for now” Sienna shook her head. “Alright” Cedric didn’t push it but gently reminded her. “If you need anything, just call me. I’ll be here waiting for you” “Okay, thanks Sienna took a deep breath, opened the car door, and got out. At the same time, Josiah stepped out of his Bentley, elegant as ever. It was just like four years ago when they were both heading in the same direction. Back then, it was to start a life together. Now, it was to go their separate ways.
