Chapter 134  Is Sienna taking her anger out on me? Am I the reason they can’t be together? Josiah felt his temper flare. “What does any of this have to do with  me?”  But as soon as he met Sienna’s piercing gaze, he fell silent. Yeah, it was my fault. The biggest stain on her was something I had given her.  “Hmph. It’s your” Sienna scoffed, glaring at him coldly. Then she remembered her four years in Fliraty and Joyce. Overwhelmed by emotion, she grabbed his tie. “Why are you so bad? We’re already divorced, yet you won’t leave me alone?  Because of their history, she felt she might never find love again. At first, that didn’t bother her much. Love wasn’t everything, and she could manage on her own while taking care of Joyce.  But then Cedric showed up. He didn’t care about her past or judge her for being an orphan. He went out of his way to help her reconnect with the dance troupe. Now that you like Cedric so much, don’t worry. With me and the Flynn family here, he wouldn’t dare to abandon you.”  “What do you want?” Sienna asked, her tear–filled eyes wide open. As she wasn’t following, he turned back and urged, “Hurry up. What’s taking so long?”  Seeing her covering her eyes, he wondered, What’s going on. Do I help or not? Before thinking it though, he stepped back quickly, leaned down, and asked, “What’s wrong with your eyes?”  “I don’t know. Sienna covered her eyes, shaking her head. “Maybe an eyelash got in, or maybe it’s some sand.”  “Let me see,” Josiah said, reaching towards Sienna’s face. She instinctively pulled back, but he held her still. “Don’t move. Do you think I’m going to eat you or something?  He pulled her arm aside and forcibly opened her eyelid, muttering, “If I were going to eat someone, I’d choose a chubby one. Do you even have any meat on you? I wouldn’t want to hurt my teeth.  Sienna fell silent. “Why does he have to talk so creepily?”  “I saw it Hold still, and I’ll blow on it… There, all done.” Josiah gently blew on her eyelid, then let go, watching her anxiously. “How does it feel now?  Sienna closed her eyes, rolled them around, then tried to open them. “It’s better now. Thanks.”  “Not a big deal” Josiah grinned, his eyes sparkling with joy. He then got in the car and drove her to the entrance of Lyceum Street  “Thanks,” Sienna said as she pushed open the car door. As she stepped out, Josiah called out, “Sienna  “Hm?” Sienna turned around, looking at him in confusion.  “Well…” Josiah pointed at her eyes. “Don’t forget to put some ice on it, or ill be hard to go onstage tomorrow,”  Just for that? Sienna thought to herself. “Got it, thanks,” she said, then got out of the car and walked into the alley.  Josiah squinted slightly as he watched her walk away, feeling a strange tickle in his chest. He had almost asked if things between her and Cedric were really over, yet the words never came out.  So what if she and Cedric are done? What does that have to do with me? What’s up?” Rosie laughed.  “Um…” Sienna said awkwardly, “Can I stay at your place for a couple of days?”  “Sure, no problem at all,” Rosie agreed without hesitation. “I’ll send you my location. Just come over.”  “Thank you.”  “No need to be so formal.”  After hanging up, Sienna got a message from Rosie and rushed over. Rosie’s place wasn’t far from Sienna’s apartment on 12th Avenue; both were in the old part of town with those old houses.  As Sienna arrived, Rosie opened the door with a big smile and pulled her in. “Come on in.”  Sienna walked inside and spotted a mannequin by the door, while the table was piled high with fabrics and sewing supplies–some neatly cut, others still untouched. Although Sienna and Rosie were colleagues, they had different roles.
