Chapter 343

Upon hearing this, Andy was not angry, but quite appreciative. “Nowadays, young people are either smart but not ruthless enough, or tough but unskilled. But you possess both,” Andy said.

“Andy!” Josiah roared, furious. “I’m asking you again. Where are they?”

“Oh,” Andy said, seemingly snapping back to reality. “Which one are you referring to—Sienna or Yvette?” He added, “They’re not together, you know.”

Josiah was taken aback. His grip tightened around Andy’s throat. His deep-set eyes flickered with chilling coldness. “Andy, what have you done to them?”

Andy frowned slightly. “Why so agitated? Relax, I haven’t done anything. I was considering your situation. They’re both your women. If they were locked up together and started fighting, it wouldn’t be easy to handle, would it?”

“Where are they exactly?” Josiah sneered. “Are you going to tell me or not?”

“Okay,” Andy said, ceasing his evasiveness. “Yvette is at the Evans family dock in the city’s eastern district, and Sienna is at Emerald Ridge in the western district.”

Before Andy finished, Josiah released him, turned, and strode out.

Watching his retreating figure, Andy let out a faint, cold laugh.

Ethan, standing behind him, frowned in confusion. “Mr. Evans, did you perhaps misremember the locations?”

The addresses Andy had given Josiah were correct. However, Sienna was actually at the Evans family dock, and Yvette at Emerald Ridge.

“No mistake,” Andy said, raising an eyebrow, his aged eyes shrewd. “How would I know which one is his favorite? Once I find out, I can conveniently take care of it.” He sneered. “He’s destined to return to the Evans family in the future. There’s no need to keep any stumbling blocks around.”

Ethan hesitated. “Mr. Evans, the results aren’t out yet. What if Edgar isn’t…” He trailed off, unable to finish the sentence. But Andy understood.

“Not my offspring!” Andy’s eyelids lowered, his gaze unwavering. “Then he’s as good as dead.” After all these years, he wouldn’t allow such a bastard to live.

Someone entered. Ethan spoke with the person, then returned to Andy. “Mr. Evans, Edgar has gone to Emerald Ridge.”

“Oh,” Andy said, surprised, a smile playing on his lips. “Ethan…”

“Mr. Evans, your orders?” Ethan asked.

“Have the people at the warehouse take action,” Andy said.

“Yes, sir,” Ethan replied.

Chapter 344

As soon as Josiah emerged, Zach approached him worriedly. “Mr. Flynn, are you alright?” Earlier, Josiah hadn’t allowed them to follow him, and every second waiting outside had been agony.

“I’m fine,” Josiah said, his face expressionless.

He had dared to go in alone because he had a plan. Things had unfolded pretty much as anticipated. Andy’s intentions were clear.

There was no time to deal with Andy now. Sienna and Yvette were waiting. But he was alone and could only go to one.

After considering, Josiah instructed, “Zach, take people to the Evans family’s cargo dock in the city’s eastern district. Chester and James, come with me to Emerald Ridge.”

“Yes, Mr. Flynn,” they replied.

They split up immediately. Before setting off, Josiah’s right eyelid kept twitching, unsettling him. He told Zach, “Make sure to bring Yvette back safely. Call me when you find her.”

“Yes, sir!” Zach said.

Josiah got into the car, rubbing his eyelid. He must be overthinking. What can go wrong? he thought. Andy’s target was him; he’d taken Sienna and Yvette to pressure him. There was no reason for Andy to harm them. Even so, he couldn’t help but feel worried and restless. Sienna must be terrified, he thought, coldly ordering, “Chester, drive faster!”

“Mr. Flynn, this is the fastest we can go!” Chester replied.

Is it really the fastest? Josiah thought. Sienna, don’t be afraid, I’ll be there soon!

While Josiah was with Andy, Cedric wasn’t idle. He hadn’t caught the black van. Using the Brawne family’s connections, he immediately went to the traffic police department. To find the van’s stops, they needed to check surveillance footage.

“Mr. Brawne, here’s the surveillance you asked for,” someone said.

“Thank you,” Cedric replied. With a specific time frame and location, he quickly found the van.

“There it is!” Cedric exclaimed.

The video didn’t show Sienna’s kidnapping; her location was a blind spot. However, once the van was on the road, it was caught on camera.

Cedric asked for a zoom; the image was enlarged, but still unclear. He requested further enhancement, finally seeing a clear license plate number.

Delighted, Cedric asked for the vehicle’s travel records and its last stop.

“Mr. Brawne, we’ve found it!” the police officer said.

“Where?” Cedric asked.

“At the Evans family’s cargo dock in the city’s eastern district,” the officer replied.

“Great! Thank you!” Cedric left and immediately drove to the dock.

At the Evans family’s cargo dock, Sienna was tied to a chair, her mouth taped shut. The cargo hold had no windows, only a dim incandescent light.

She’d been alone for a while. The door creaked open; someone entered. Sienna straightened, wondering what would happen.

The person wore a mask and hat, their face hidden, but their tall, robust figure was visible. “Ms. Shaw,” the person said, their tone polite.

Sienna couldn’t speak, her almond-shaped eyes fixed on them.

The person laughed. “We kidnapped you to lure Mr. Flynn, but it seems, in his heart, you’re not important.”

What does that mean? Sienna thought, her eyes widening. Josiah, despite his flaws, couldn’t possibly know she was in danger and ignore it.

“Don’t believe it, do you?” The person saw through her thoughts. “Did you know? Yvette was also kidnapped, just like you.”

What? Yvette too? Sienna’s eyes widened in shock.

“Do you know where Mr. Flynn is now?” the person asked, staring intently at Sienna. “He’s on his way to Emerald Ridge—Yvette is there.”
