Chapter 350

Josiah defiantly raised his chin, glaring at Andy. "How did the east dock catch fire?" he demanded.

"What?" Andy replied, confused. "What fire?"

"Are you really unaware?" Josiah sneered coldly. "Do you think I'm a fool? You wouldn't claim this has nothing to do with you, would you?"

Before Andy could respond, Josiah lunged, pinning him against the sofa. Ethan, momentarily stunned, exclaimed, "Mr. Evans!"

Josiah shouted, "Do not move!" By the time Ethan reacted, it was too late. Josiah held a knife to Andy's neck.

Alarmed, Ethan stopped. "Mr. Evans, let's talk this through. Please, don't act impulsively!"

Josiah's eyes drilled into Andy. "Andy, what are you thinking? What is your plan? Are you out for my life? Why drag her into this?"

"Her?" Andy smiled faintly, even with the knife at his throat. "You mean Sienna?"

Josiah's expression changed. He finally understood. Through clenched teeth, he accused, "Andy, you didn't mention the address by mistake; you did this on purpose! You flipped the address on purpose!"

"Indeed," Andy nodded, satisfaction clear on his face. "Have you finally understood?"

Josiah pushed the knife closer, breaking Andy's skin. Blood welled. "You're insane! Why would you hurt her? If you hate me, then just end my life!"

Andy winced, but his eyes remained steady. "You are not a bastard; you are my blood."

The atmosphere thickened. The paternity test results had arrived; Josiah was Andy's son. For years, neither man had believed they were related. This revelation stirred tumultuous emotions within Josiah.

Andy sighed. "Edgar, Sienna is not worthy of you! I removed her for your own good."

Josiah's rage flared. "You set fire to the east dock, didn't you?"

"Yes, I did," Andy confessed. "I also told her you went to Emerald Ridge to save Yvette! Even if she wakes up, she'll never forgive a man willing to put her life at risk!"

Josiah roared. Andy's actions weren't just to hurt Sienna; he aimed to destroy any hope they might have had.

Josiah loosened his grip, dropping the knife, but then punched Andy repeatedly with unforgiving brutality.

Andy groaned, curling on the ground. Ethan rushed forward. "Stop! Mr. Evans is your father! What you're doing is treason!" But he couldn't stop Josiah.

Andy grimaced. "I'm doing this for your own good! She's just a womanโ€”you can have as many others as you want! A woman from a poor background is not fit for high society; your mother is the perfect example."

These words struck Josiah like thunder. It had been so long since he'd thought of his mother; her image had faded from his memory.

Ethan helped Andy to his feet and gave him gauze. Andy pressed it to his neck.

"Edgar," Andy said seriously, "a woman from a poor background has shallow dreams; do you really think she cares for you? She only wants your moneyโ€ฆ"

"Not true!" Josiah insisted. "Sienna is not that kind of person!"

"Edgar," Andy sighed. "I have grown old; it's time for you to come home."

Josiah narrowed his eyes. "You caused all this chaos just to bring me back to the Evans family?"

Andy chuckled darkly. "I understand your anger. But Edgar, once you return, the entire family fortune will be yours. The Evans family is no less important than the Flynn family; in fact, it may even command more respectโ€ฆ"

Josiahโ€™s lips formed a menacing smile. "Edgar is long gone! I am Josiah Flynn!"

His eyes glinted with cold fury. "I have no interest in you or the Evans family!"

Then a thought struck him, and he lunged at Andy. "You must come with me to the hospital! You need to explain your actions to Sienna!"

But two rows of bodyguards blocked his path.

Josiah laughed dismissively. The bodyguards dared not approach; he was now the sole heir of the Evans family.

"Andy," Josiah's gaze pierced Andy. "Listen closely, I am not here to take your life! However, I warn you, if you harm anyone I care about, I will make sure your family suffers! I mean every word!"

He smiled menacingly. "No heirs left. Just wait! Once the Evans family is in your hands, it's finished!"

Josiah faced another row of bodyguards. "Get out of my way!" The bodyguards looked to Andy, waiting for his nod.

Ethan sighed heavily. "What now?"

Andy remained calm. "Hurry, find the person."

Ethan understood. "Yes, Mr. Evans."

When Josiah returned to the hospital, the ward was quiet. The nurse waited. Josiah hesitated, fearing he might distress Sienna further.
