Chapter 118
“Hi,” Jess said excitedly. “I know I promised to come an hour later, but Ami made us come early.” “Uncle Cole!!!” Ami approached Cole, who crouched down, and hugged him. “How are you, darling?” he asked, pulling away. “Fine, and I missed you!” The little girl pouted. “I missed you too.” “Good to see you again, Jess.” Hailey and Jessica hugged. “Ami, these are my boys, Ollie and Enzo.” “Ollie, Enzo. This is Ami, my goddaughter. Just as Debbie is your godmother. And that’s Jess, Ami’s mother.” “Hi, Ami.” “Hi,” the twins greeted shyly. Ami grinned. “Hi, Enzo, Ollie. It’s good to meet you both.” She turned to Cole. “They are so cute and look so much like you.” Cole nodded, smiling proudly.
Jess crouched to the twins’ height, smiling at them. “Hi, my loves, it’s so good to finally meet you.” She pulled the twins into a warm hug. “Thank you for being your father’s little angels.” Enzo nodded proudly. “We love Daddy so much.” “Yes, Daddy is my hero,” Ollie added. Cole felt his heart would burst with pride. “That’s good to hear, my loves. Your dad is an amazing man, and I’m super happy for the beautiful bond you all have. Ready to see your Grandpa?” The duo nodded in unison.

“Come, let’s go in.” Ami ushered the twins to the main living room where Moore was, leaving the adults to follow. Cole and Jess rose. They exchanged a hug, then made their way in, Jess shutting the door. “How have you been, Hailey?” Jess asked as they walked side by side, with Cole behind. Hailey smiled. “Never better. I’m enjoying the peace of this new phase of life.” Jessica nodded. “It’s good to see you so happy and relieved.” “Thank you. I know you and Cole talk often, but I hope he’s invited you to the wedding,” Hailey said, stopping. Jess stopped. “Yes, he told me.” “You’ll be coming, right?” “Hell yes!” Jess smiled. “I wouldn’t miss my best friend’s wedding for anything.” “Besides, I’m due a vacation, and Italy seems perfect.” Hailey smiled. “Thank you for being so happy for us, and for everything. For being there for Cole when I was away.” “Of course. You both deserve all the happiness in the world. I should thank you for your kind heart and selflessness. No one would have blamed you for not giving Cole a second chance. Thank you for loving him unconditionally. May God bless you both forever.” Hailey smiled. “Your kind words mean so much.” “You’re welcome, sis.” They continued to the living room, where they heard laughter. “What’s all this?” Hailey said, smiling at the decorations. Jessica giggled. “Trust Moore to go all out for his grandbabies.” Ami ushered Ollie and Enzo into the living room.

“Wow!!!!” The little boys exclaimed. They stopped to admire the decorations.
There were balloons, a PJ Masks twin cake, and a corner filled with wrapped gifts. A wall decoration read, “Welcome Ollie and Enzo.” It was almost like their birthday.
Moore smiled, rising. He’d been nervous when Jess and Ami answered the door, but seeing his grandchildren’s excitement calmed him. Tears welled in Moore’s eyes as he looked at the twins. They looked so much like Cole he could barely tell them apart; they were even the same height. Enzo went to the cake; Ollie went to the gifts. There were many.
Ollie turned to his grandfather. “Is that for us, Grandpa?” he asked. Moore almost cried at the sound of “Grandpa.” “Yes, my love.”
Enzo rushed over. “Hi, Grandpa. I’m Enzo, and this is Oliver,” he gestured, “but we call him Ollie.” Moore crouched. “And you are Grandpa Moore. Daddy told us so much about you!” Moore smiled. “I can say the same about you both. It’s nice to finally see you.” “Same here, Grandpa,” Enzo answered. “You said all the gifts are for us, but it’s not our birthday yet,” Ollie said. “I know. But they’re gifts to celebrate you both. I missed four of your birthdays, so this makes up for it.” Both boys grinned. They hugged Moore, who hugged them back. He wiped away a tear. The twins pulled away. “Thank you, Grandpa.” Chapter 118 “We love you, Grandpa.” “You’re welcome, my loves.” “We have a gift for you,” Ollie said. “Really?” Moore’s eyes lit up.
