Chapter 184
I lowered the car window. The cool breeze instantly poured in. The next second, Reynaldo raised the window again, saying, โYour clothes are all wet, and youโll get sick in the night air.โ
I bit my lip, pinched my hand, and fought to stay awake. Otherwise, I feared Iโd be overcome by desire and run to him, causing a scene.
Reynaldo turned and glanced at me, saying in a deep voice, โHold on a little longer; weโll be there soon.โ
I pursed my lips, remaining silent, feeling, for the first time, how long time stretched. The car finally stopped before a hotel.
As soon as Reynaldo opened the car door, I leaned in and kissed him without hesitation. His eyes darkened, and he quickly picked me up and carried me toward the hotel.
On the soft bed, I eagerly pushed him down, clumsily kissing his lips, Adamโs apple, and chest. He remained still, letting me do as I pleased. What should I do next, besides kissing him? I felt intensely uncomfortable, as if I couldnโt find release.
I pulled his belt, cried, and shouted his name. He sat up, holding me close. His eyes bore into mine: โDo you want this very much?โ
I nodded hastily, casting aside shame, pride, and self-esteem. Gasping for breath, I said with difficulty, โPleaseโฆ please help meโฆโ
Reynaldoโs eyes grew darker, harboring something deep within. He asked in a hoarse voice, โDid you see clearly? Who am I?โ
โReynaldo, ahโฆโ I wrapped my arms around his neck, pressing my body against his, and said with difficult but determined conviction, โYou are Reynaldo, ahโฆโ
โWhat if it were Winston and Anton; would you be equally enthusiastic?โ
He still didnโt believe me, still thinking any man would do. I shook my head, feeling confused. I murmured drowsily, โWho are theyโฆ I only want you, Reynaldo, only youโฆโ
My body was instantly pinned down by a man.

Everything that happened afterward was chaotic and enchanting. I canโt remember how I asked Reynaldo, nor how many embarrassing things I said.
In a daze, I only remember him gripping my shoulder, leaning close, and saying in a hoarse, menacing voice, โI wish I could die on you.โ
The whole night was hazy and drifting. I didnโt even know who I was, or who the man on me was. We had no idea where we were.
When it was still dark, the man finally left. I vaguely saw him, robed, going to the window. A cool breeze blew, carrying his cold, malicious words: โThose two people, I donโt want to see them in Freybourne again. Also, leave that one-fingered man alone.โ
I shivered. However, I couldnโt fight the exhaustion and drowsiness that enveloped me, and I fell into a deep sleep.
I donโt know how long I slept. I felt groggy, as if someone had been giving me water. After my dry, sore throat was soothed with warm water, I felt much better and fell back into a deep sleep.

Waking up, I stared blankly at the ceiling. I was stunned for a full minute before the embarrassing memories flooded back.
I turned my head and looked around. From the roomโs decor, I realized I was still in a hotel. The room was silent; no trace of the man remained except for my torn clothes.
I sat up, hugging the blanket, feeling weak and powerless, with a splitting headache. I banged my head, then looked around the room. A set of neat womenโs clothes lay on the sofa. The man at least had the decency to provide clean clothes.
I dragged my tired body out of bed. I lowered my gaze to my flat belly. I wondered if last night had harmed the baby, and if the soup my aunt gave me had done any damage.
I changed my clothes and pulled open the curtains. The harsh sunlight made it impossible to open my eyes. I covered my eyes, taking a moment to adjust.
