Rachel lowered her gaze and finally realized that, at some point, one of the buttons on her blouse had come undone, revealing a glimpse of her bra underneath.

Her ears instantly turned bright red. She quickly jumped off Tyler, clutching her collar as she glared at him.

โ€œTyler!โ€

Seeing how flustered she was, Tyler didnโ€™t think she was being unreasonable. On the contrary, he found her incredibly cute.

โ€œDonโ€™t be mad. Getting angry gives you wrinkles. If youโ€™re upset, you can bite me if you want. Anywhere you like.โ€

Tyler began unbuttoning his shirt, revealing a broad chest.

To Rachel, the way he looked right now felt a bit scandalous. His chiseled features and his deliberately loosened shirt made her feel like she was a femme fatale from a romance drama. She couldnโ€™t help itโ€“most women would have a hard time resisting a man like him.

At this moment, one term suddenly popped into her head.

โ€˜A seducer.โ€™

It was totally accurate.

Snapping out of it, Rachel grabbed his hand just as he was about to undo another button.

โ€œThatโ€™s enough.โ€

Tyler playfully tugged his shirt further open, as if to give her an even better view. With a mischievous smile on his lips, he looked like he was deliberately trying to tempt her.

โ€œSure you donโ€™t want to? Itโ€™s your last chance.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m sure,โ€ Rachel said firmly.

โ€œAlright, then. What a shame.โ€ Tyler shrugged, sighing dramatically as he redid his buttons.

Rachel checked her watch. โ€œI need to head back.โ€

โ€œIโ€™ll have Yale drive you.โ€

Tyler didnโ€™t even give her a chance to refuse. He immediately pulled out his phone and called Yale over.

Rachel considered it. If she left on her own, sheโ€™d have to call a ride and waste time. She still had more important things to do today.

โ€œThen Iโ€™ll take you up on that offer.โ€

She was just about to walk out when Tyler seemed to remember something and called her back.

โ€œWait. Drink the chicken soup first. Itโ€™s good for your health.โ€

He walked over, opened the thermos, and poured a bowl of soup. As Rachel stared at the steaming broth, she thought of what Sheryn had said earlier about how many chickens had already gone to waste.

A pampered young lady like Sheryn had actually gone out of her way to learn how to make chicken soup for Tyler.

Rachel suddenly thought of her past self. She had been willing to learn anything for the person she loved. Aside from work, she never had the patience for much else.

She waved him off. โ€œThatโ€™s your cousinโ€™s soup. Donโ€™t let her efforts go to waste.โ€

Tyler frowned. โ€œYouโ€™re being awfully generous today.โ€

Rachel simply smiled. โ€œYou should drink it yourself. Youโ€™ve got a long workday ahead.โ€

There was something pointed in her words.

Tyler couldnโ€™t help but pull her into his arms again, murmuring into her ear. โ€œWorried Iโ€™ll run out of energy?โ€

Rachel pushed him away and gave him a look. โ€œTyler, are you thinking with the wrong head?โ€

It seemed like no matter what she said, this man could twist it into something dirty.

Tyler just grinned and brought the soup to her lips again. โ€œCome on, be good. Drink it and then go. Otherwise, I donโ€™t mind feeding it to you in a different way.โ€

Rachel wasnโ€™t new to this. She knew exactly what he meant.

Knowing Tyler, heโ€™d probably do it, too.

So she took the bowl from him and drank the soup in one go.

โ€œHow does it taste?โ€ Tyler asked.
