Chapter 733

Rachel was always stubborn. Deep down, she wanted it too, but when it came to speaking out loud, she ended up rejecting the offer.

โ€œNo, thanks. Itโ€™s nothing special to look at, anyway. Go to bed.โ€

She looked away and was ready to slip out of Tylerโ€™s hold, but he pulled her right back into his arms.

โ€œWho was the one swallowing earlier? I donโ€™t think I need to spell it out. You were sneaking looks a minute ago, and now that Iโ€™m letting you look, you wonโ€™t.โ€

Rachel instinctively argued, โ€œYou say I was sneaking a look. Whereโ€™s the proof?โ€

โ€œDo I need proof?โ€

Tylerโ€™s warm fingertip brushed across her lips, sending a shiver through her body.

Rachel had never been able to resist him. Her ears burned red-hot, and she was afraid that if she kept staring at him, her feelings would be completely exposed.

She turned her face away and pushed at him. โ€œJust let me sleep already.โ€

Tyler deliberately tugged his robe open wider, revealing his chest in full. He must have found her flustered reaction amusing, because he laughed low in his throat, the sound rough with fatigue yet so enticing it made her ears buzz.

โ€œReally not going to look? Right now Iโ€™m letting you, but if you change your mind later, donโ€™t blame me.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m not looking. Itโ€™s not like I havenโ€™t seen it before. Nothing new.โ€

Her words said one thing, but her eyes betrayed herโ€“flicking back toward his chest all the same.

Tyler didnโ€™t tease her further. He simply pulled her into his arms. โ€œFine. If you want to look, then look. Iโ€™m yours now. You can look wherever you want.โ€

That โ€˜wherever you wantโ€™ line made her cheeks turn red again.

At this point, Rachel couldnโ€™t not look. Tyler caught her chin between his fingers, forcing her to face him, and her gaze landed squarely on his chest.

She had to admit that his body really was attractive.

Without meaning to, she found herself lost in it. Tyler leaned forward. The warmth of his body and his cigarette scent overwhelmed her.

โ€œSo? Howโ€™s the view? Satisfied?โ€

Rachelโ€™s every muscle was tense. Her cheeks turned even redder.

Almost as if under a spell, she nodded.

โ€œYeah.โ€

Tyler smiled in satisfaction.

โ€œThen I guess itโ€™s my turn now.โ€

โ€œHuh?โ€ Rachel blinked in confusion.

His lips, hot and demanding, pressed down against hers. Rachel tilted her head back slightly, taking in the heated kiss.

Logic screamed at her to resist, but the truth was she didnโ€™t want to at all.

Being close to Tyler didnโ€™t repel her. It made her feel good. He always restrained his own desire, putting her comfort first. In moments like this, he gave her a sense of being cared for.

If nothing else, in this aspect, the two of them fit together perfectly.

As Rachel gazed at him, her mind flashed back to the talk with Cecilia earlier that day.

Maybe she really did like Tyler.

But was liking someone such a terrible thing? Even with all the unresolved problems she had, it didnโ€™t stop her from caring for someone.

Liking Tyler wasnโ€™t a burden. It was something to be happy about.

Once she had someone she could emotionally rely on, no matter what happened, she would have that person to share it with. She wouldnโ€™t be alone anymore.
