A group of people laughed and chatted as they walked towards the school. Suddenly, Ophelia’s gaze swept to a short distance away, where she saw a few familiar figures.

Kind and simple? Elva? Ophelia almost couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

She believed that Elva was not scheming, after all, people were indeed very foolish. But how blind was Alfred to say that the other person was kind and simple?

No wonder I almost lost my life because of Elva!

“Are you out of your mind?” she mocked unceremoniously. “I really can’t believe that with your intelligence, you actually became Mr. Winford’s trusted confidant!”

Alfred angrily said, “What do you mean?!”

“Not much to say, just speaking the truth,” Ophelia tugged at her lip. “Considering your position, I’ll give you a piece of advice: don’t trust Elva!”

After saying that, she directly lifted her foot and left.
