“Shut up!” Adalynn said with a stern face. “You were doing just fine, Bessie. I went through a lot of trouble to stand up for you, and this is how you repay me?”

In front of so many people, it made her unable to come down from the stage! Bessie pinched her palm. Although she had used Adalynn to deal with Ophelia, it was clear that Adalynn disliked Ophelia because of Cullen. Her grievances were merely a superficial excuse.
