“Hubby, you are so wonderful!” Ophelia was indeed very surprised. She happily spun around, hugging the man; her smile bright and radiant. Ophelia felt dazed throughout the meal, only regaining her senses when the cool breeze hit her after Winford led her away. She felt a bit reluctant and said, “Honey, are we really going home now?” Looking at her lovely appearance, a rare gentle smile appeared between Winford’s stern brows as he coaxed, “You can come again in the future.” Saying this, he pulled her into the elevator, preparing to go downstairs.

At that moment, downstairs, Adalynn and Bessie, along with their companions, were stopped by the restaurant manager.

“Do you know who I am? I was going to dine at the restaurant on the top floor today!”

“Sorry, miss. The top floor was indeed already occupied…”

“Then let them go!” Adalynn said domineeringly and impatiently. “Give them five minutes and clear the place for me!”

Adalynn was in a very bad mood. She didn’t have to come to a couple’s restaurant; she came because she’d heard it was the most upscale in Minston.
