In the next moment, the girl stood on her tiptoes and kissed him on the lips without hesitation. There were faint sounds of small screams around, and Ophelia laughed, even more happily. “Now I’m satisfied!”

After saying that, she turned around and ran away, her skirt fluttering. When she reached the door, she turned back to wave at him, her smile making her eyes curve like crescent moons. In that moment, the solid ice deep within Winford’s eyes seemed to melt, and he—rarely one to smile—responded to his little wife.

Then, after watching her figure completely disappear from sight, he withdrew his gaze, returned to the car, and left for home. When the car started, he glanced outside. He had just separated from her, and he was already waiting for the class to end. In the passenger seat, Graham quietly glanced at Mr. Winford’s expression, which was melting like ice, through the rearview mirror, and felt a sense of comfort and happiness in his heart.

Once, Ophelia acted like a fool; after being sweet-talked by him for a couple of sentences, she became completely devoted to him, but he didn’t care at all.
