“Did something happen to you, cousin?” Lenora became alert, very concerned about Ophelia’s unusual behavior and fearing something might be wrong.

“Nothing, nothing!” Ophelia hurriedly said. “I just thought of something else and got a bit distracted. What did you just say? I didn’t hear it; could you say it again?”

“Oh, it’s nothing serious,” Lenora replied. “I just wanted to ask if you had some time. I was going to take you to see the excitement!” Her tone became a bit more excited as she spoke.

Lenora said, “I just passed by the Pruitt family and saw their house was in an uproar. It was so lively, and Cullen was getting beaten badly! Cousin, do you want to go see? I already found a good spot!”
