Chapter 1178
The agent followed Aurora, growing more conflicted. It was the first time she had met someone who clearly didn’t look short of money, yet wandered through so many places, hesitating at every turn.
Even their best properties had been shown, but the client still wasn’t satisfied.
“Miss, do you have a particular layout in mind?” the agent asked, still keeping her professional tone. “If you tell me what you’re looking for, I’ll do my best to find it for you.”
Her thinking was simple: as long as the client had a clear preference, she would be able to match it. The client’s needs set the goal, and she would do everything possible to fulfill it.
“These layouts are all too plain. What I want is something with a bit of poetry and charm,” Aurora stated directly.
Megan frowned in puzzlement. “Why do you want that kind of place?”
She had thought Aurora’s intention was just to find an ordinary office. But now it seemed her expectations were higher than she had imagined.
Ian spoke up in agreement. “Is it because of the name I came up with for the company? So, Miss Aurora, you want a studio that matches it?”
“Yes, exactly.” Aurora cast him a look of approval. “No wonder you’ve been with me for so long–you know exactly what I like.” She patted Ian on the shoulder, her eyes shining with satisfaction.
“It’s just that I’ve been by your side long enough,” Ian scratched his head, a little embarrassed. “So of course I’d pick up on these things.”
“Frost & Clear…” Megan murmured the studio’s name again, realizing Aurora was right. A studio with poetry and elegance was the only thing that could truly live up to the name. If it were just an ordinary place, it would lose the meaning behind it. After all, if everything looked the same, it would be meaningless.
“So, Aurora, have you decided what kind of layout you actually want?” Megan asked curiously. Even the others turned eager eyes toward Aurora, wanting to know what sort of place she had in mind.
“I was actually thinking of finding a small courtyard-style house,” Aurora said seriously. “Turn the studio into something less rigid, more like a place for leisure.”
Megan blinked. “A courtyard?”
Ian chimed in, “Great idea!”
The two spoke in unison, then glanced at each other, both seeing the same surprise in the other’s eyes. After all, no one else would have thought of such a concept. Aurora’s idea truly set her apart.
“But would we really be able to work properly in that kind of place?” Megan asked with curiosity.
“That’s exactly why I want this kind of layout,” Aurora answered firmly. “Since it’s just the three of us building this studio, why should we be bound by so many rules?”
She never wanted their lives to be consumed entirely by work.
