Chapter 1291

In todayโ€™s workplace, even coffee shops would form little cliques that bullied staff, and she didnโ€™t want her studio turning into that.

With a smaller team, that kind of thing would drop off sharply.

She hired people to work, not to play office politics.

Otherwise it would be putting the cart before the horse.

Aurora thought it through. โ€œLetโ€™s post the job listing tonight. We can invite candidates to interview tomorrow. Iโ€™ll be there and prepare a few questions. Weโ€™ll cap it at two hires.โ€

โ€œDonโ€™t worry, boss. Leave it to me.โ€

Ian agreed earnestly; he knew she was hiring to take pressure off him.

Hearing that, Aurora felt at ease; the tasks she gave him over time were almost always delivered above target.

Sometimes he even did better than she expected.

With an employee like that, she could truly relax.

She didnโ€™t need to spend extra time and effort chasing things herself.

After everything, Aurora also saw clearly how loyal Ian was.

The next day, Aurora went to the studio and worked with Ian on the hiring.

Ian already wrote out the questions they needed to ask.

That made it easy for Auroraโ€“she only needed to see if each person felt like a fit and seemed steady and capable.

Ian only posted the listing on one recruiting site, so not many people came.

There were about ten.

Aurora did a quick estimate; they would be done in under an hour.

This round was mainly for a business coordinator and an office assistant to support Ian.

The assistant would also cover the front desk.

Otherwise, would Megan have to open the door for visitors every time?

Of course that wasnโ€™t an option.

She hadnโ€™t asked Megan to come just to play doorman.

When Ian saw Aurora arrive, he immediately stood and greeted her warmly. โ€œBoss, youโ€™re here?โ€

Aurora gave a small nod in acknowledgment.

โ€œHowโ€™s it looking? How many turned up? Are they all here?โ€

โ€œOriginally fifteen confirmed online, but only twelve actually showed,โ€ Ian replied. He had already organized their files neatly and handed the folder to her.

โ€œBoss, hereโ€™s everything I put together. These twelve are all accounted for.โ€

Aurora took the folder and flipped through the papers carefully.

โ€œGood. Once Megan gets here, weโ€™ll start the interviews.โ€

After all, whoever they hired would be working closely with the three of them day in and day out.

It couldnโ€™t be just her opinionโ€“the studio wasnโ€™t meant to be a one-woman show.

Ian quickly understood what she meant, and he couldnโ€™t help but admire her again.

It was no wonder sheโ€™d helped Walton Corporation land so many projects before; Auroraโ€™s strength wasnโ€™t just her skills, but her way of handling people.

She was tactful yet firm, knew where the lines were, and never left anyone feeling awkward or disrespected.

Whatever she set her mind to, she carried through seriously, never dragging her feet, always with sharp efficiency.

It was precisely that quality that made Ian willing to keep following her lead.
