Chapter 1484

โ€œAurora, are you sure these photos are real? Could it be that someoneโ€™s trying to frame your sister and ruin your relationship?โ€

Grace looked at Aurora with genuine concern in her eyes.

Aurora was speechless.

โ€œHave you been brainwashed?โ€ she said finally, her voice edged with disbelief.

Graceโ€™s expression turned uneasy. โ€œWhatโ€™s that supposed to mean?โ€

โ€œWhat do I mean?โ€ Aurora gave a sharp laugh. โ€œNo matter what I say, you never listen. But the moment Tessa opens her mouth, you believe every word. Even when the evidence is right in front of you, you still doubt it.

โ€œSo Iโ€™m done wasting my breath. The evidence is here. Whether you believe it or not is your choice. All I need to know is that the person behind those posts is Tessa. I donโ€™t care about the rest anymore.โ€

Tessa was about to speak when Aurora cut her off.

โ€œDonโ€™t bother. The proof is right there, and youโ€™re still trying to deny it.โ€

Tessa clenched her fists and forced herself to speak. โ€œBut I donโ€™t even know that man. Even if I did, what proof do you have that connects me to whatโ€™s online? You can ask Mom yourself. Iโ€™ve been swamped with company work lately, so I havenโ€™t had time to do what youโ€™re accusing me of.โ€

Graceโ€™s eyes lit up slightly, and her heart began to tilt back toward Tessaโ€™s side.

What she said made sense โ€“ Grace had seen her progress lately.

If Tessa hadnโ€™t been putting in the effort, how could she have closed a deal so quickly? These things took time and energy; they didnโ€™t happen overnight.

Before Grace could speak, Aurora let out a cold laugh. โ€œNo, you couldnโ€™t have, but that man could. Even if you didnโ€™t have time, you couldโ€™ve easily had him do it for you. And it wouldnโ€™t be the first time, would it?โ€

Aurora turned to Grace. โ€œMom, have you already forgotten how Tessa and Julian treated me before? They were the ones who made me lie in a hospital bed for an entire month.โ€

Her voice rose with emotion, every word trembling with pain.

That incident was a scar she would never be able to erase.

Tessa looked awkward, lifting her hand to fix her hair, but the movement didnโ€™t escape Auroraโ€™s eyes.

Her gaze locked instantly on the bracelet on Tessaโ€™s wrist.

In that moment, Auroraโ€™s jaw tightened so hard it nearly cracked.

She remembered clearly โ€“ that bracelet had always been kept in Graceโ€™s study, something Grace cherished deeply.

Even as a child, Aurora had known how much sentimental value it held for her mother.

For Grace to give away something that precious; it was far from ordinary.

Its worth, both emotional and material, was obvious.

Auroraโ€™s eyes widened. She hadnโ€™t expected Graceโ€™s favoritism to run this deep. So, what was the point of her still trying to fight it?

Even if it was proven beyond doubt today that Tessa was the one behind everything, Grace probably wouldnโ€™t say a word against her.

In her eyes, Tessa would always matter more.

No matter how much more capable Aurora was, so what?

A motherโ€™s heart was made of flesh โ€“ there would always be one side that held more weight.
