Chapter 546
Julian looked at her defeated expression and didnโt feel a shred of pity. When it came to Lily, he had always been clear about his intentions. She was nothing more than a vessel to satisfy his desires. Nothing else. And the fact that she knew nothing about her own identity or records only made things more convenient for him.

The sound made Lily flinch. Her eyes widened in shock as she stared at Julian.
โYouโฆ what are you doing?โ
There was no need to guessโher voice trembled with fear. Lily had always suspected what this man was capable of. But seeing it unfold in front of her still sent fear coursing through her veins. Every time Julian touched her, it wasnโt about pleasureโit was fear, shame, and revulsion. His movements were always violent, never once considering her pain. More than once, he had left her bruised and battered. In those moments, she felt no different from a woman in a brothel. Nothing more than an object to be used and discarded, her dignity stripped away piece by piece. How was this still happening in the 21st century? Was she trapped in some godforsaken village, cut off from the rest of the world?
Lily often asked herself how someone like Julian could think and behave like this, as if human decency had never touched him. In a lawful society, how could trash like him still exist? Now, all she could do was pray that Tessa had truly heard the sounds sheโd made. This way, her suffering would ease a little. Life from then on could be slightly better, instead of staying trapped with scum like Julian Hayes.
Seeing Lilyโs unwilling expression, Julian felt a wave of discomfort rise in his chest. โWhatโs with that look? I didnโt even care that you donโt have a record or status, and now youโre looking down on me?โ He sneered, grabbing her face and turning it forcefully. He coldly took off his pants without the slightest gentleness and got straight to the point. Lilyโs eyes widened as tears streamed silently down her face. She clutched the bedsheet tightly. Whoever was on the other end of the call, so long as they could rescue her from this hell, she would be grateful for the rest of her life.
That evening, Julian strolled out of the villa at a leisurely pace. But Lily lay in bed like a broken rag doll, her eyes completely lifeless. Even the clothes on her body were torn and ragged, barely covering anything. It was obvious what she had just been through. She stared at Julianโs back, swearing to herself that if she ever got a chance to turn the tables, she would never let this man off the hook.
Julian, however, didnโt care. Before leaving, he locked the door again. Only one housekeeper had the key. Other than the woman who brought meals, Lily had no contact with anyone. And even that housekeeper had been handpicked by Julian to avoid any risk of Lily persuading her to help. He had thought through every possibility and prepared for every outcome. There was no way he would give Lily a single chance. For now, this woman was still pleasing to him. He had no intention of throwing her out anytime soon.
