Startled by the pain, Julian pulled away from her, his face full of shock. “Baby, what’s that supposed to mean?”

He couldn’t understand—how could they be kissing so passionately, and then suddenly, she bit him? Wasn’t this supposed to be a moment of intimacy between them? At times, Julian truly struggled to understand Tessa’s thought process. Just like now, he couldn’t make sense of it. Everything was going so well, and then she did that—what was the point? Tessa, however, said with pride, “Don’t think I don’t know what you’re thinking. You’re kissing me, yet you’re still thinking about something else?”

A flicker of guilt passed through Julian’s eyes. He hadn’t expected Tessa to actually see through him. Sometimes, women really were terrifying—living with them meant every little thought could be easily exposed.

“Alright, baby, it’s my fault. Don’t be mad.” Julian’s emotions shifted quickly; without hesitation, he immediately apologized.

Tessa snorted. “After all this time we’ve spent together, you don’t really think I don’t know what kind of person you are, do you? You’d better not be messing around behind my back. If I find out, you’re finished.”

Julian’s body tensed. Tessa’s words shocked him, making his heart skip a beat. He even began to hesitate, wondering if it was right or wrong to keep Lily hidden in the villa. He already had Tessa. Adding another woman would be pretty reckless, wouldn’t it? What would he do if he got caught? Especially since Tessa had been warning him over and over. It seemed like she’d noticed something was off; otherwise, she wouldn’t be acting this way.

But now, Julian didn’t know what to do. He could only take things one step at a time. For now, the best approach was to make sure Tessa never found out about Lily. Otherwise, everything would fall apart. Julian repeatedly promised that nothing Tessa suspected would happen.

He would cherish Tessa, keep her in his heart, and protect her from anyone who might try to hurt her. Hearing this, Tessa felt a bit reassured.

She smiled slightly and replied, “That’s more like it. If I find out you’re messing around, none of us will have it easy.”

Julian nodded repeatedly, assuring her that he wouldn’t do anything to upset her. After all, he still needed Tessa, and he certainly wouldn’t risk angering her, especially when he still needed her for the company. There was no reason to make things difficult. Besides, their relationship was still going well.

As for Lily, he would handle things carefully, making sure no one found out. After making up his mind, Julian decided he would buy a new villa, one that even his parents wouldn’t know about.
