Chapter 31
The birthday party was in full swing, but it had reached its halfway point.
"Maddy, I really can't drink anymore," Dakota mumbled, pushing away the glass of red wine Madison offered. Her voice was soft and weak; three glasses were her limit, and the room was starting to spin.
"Alright, let's not drink anymore," Madison replied, setting down her own glass. A hint of coldness crept into her eyes as she observed Dakota's vulnerable state. She then pulled out her phone and sent a text to an unknown number.
Moments later, the private room's door burst open. A fierce-looking man in a suit, cigar clenched between his teeth, entered, followed by several other menacingly large men. It was Lord Caspian and his entourage.
Silence fell over the room. The girls stared at the uninvited guests in horror; their intimidating presence spoke volumes.
"Well, well, lively bunch, aren't we?" Lord Caspian smirked, surveying the room.
Terror gripped the girls. They huddled together on the couch, eyes wide with fear. Caspian studied their delicate features, noting they were far more beautiful than the women he usually encountered in nightclubs. When his gaze landed on Dakota, he was momentarily stunned. Her outfit, figure, and face were breathtaking. His eyes burned with intense desire. This was his target. What a beautiful woman! And she'd been delivered to him on a silver platter, courtesy of Archie.
He licked his lips, excitement evident. Approaching Dakota, he said, "Hey there, beautiful. You look familiar. Have we met before?"
Dakota, already intoxicated, opened her eyes in a daze. "Who are you?" she asked.
"Who am I? I'm Lord Caspian!" he grinned, his eyes lecherously tracing the line of her exposed thigh. A fiery desire consumed him. She was undeniably stunning.
"Uh Lord Caspian? Sorry, I don't know you," Dakota mumbled, confused.
"You don't know me?" Caspian stroked his chin, smirking. "No worries, we'll get acquainted very soon. Let's go, have some fun. I've already booked a room at the hotel next door." He reached for her.
"What are you doing?!"
Dakota, her senses clouded, felt his advance. Instinctively, she pushed him away, grabbed a wine bottle from the table, and swung it at his head.
The bottle shattered with a loud crash. Caspian stumbled back, and silence again descended upon the room. The other girls gasped, mouths covered in shock. Even Madison was taken aback. She hadn't anticipated Dakota, drunk as she was, would react so violently, especially against Lord Caspian. If things went wrong, she'd be implicated too. Her heart pounded as she watched Caspian, blood trickling from his forehead. He wiped it away, a fierce look replacing his earlier lechery.
"You bitch!" he roared, slapping Dakota hard across the face.
