"I'm replying to Mr. Kane's text. He asked if the money arrived. Do you have a problem with that?" Cameron put away his phone, giving Willie an indifferent look.

"Haha!" Willie laughed. "You sure are good at acting. I'll call Mr. Kane's secretary right now to confirm with Mr. Kane himself!"

Willie pulled out his phone, ready to call, when his own phone rang—a call from Bobby. How convenient!

A sly smile curled Willie's lips. He turned to Cameron. "Would you look at that? Mr. Kane just so happened to be calling me. Oh, I remember now! Halloween is coming up next month! Mr. Kane must be planning to invite me to his place! I'll ask if he's acquainted with you."

He eagerly answered the call, putting it on speakerphone. However, his smile vanished when he heard the other person speak.
