Soon, Macro had someone buy the medicine. When he handed it to Sebastian, he reminded him, “Don’t touch her during this time.” As soon as he said this, the whole atmosphere felt icy. Sebastian gave him a cold look.

Macro insisted. “I’m serious. And she can’t enjoy the hot springs in her current condition. It’s been quite cold in Mount Spring these days. You should take her back to Whispering Bay.”

Sebastian had brought Stephanie here for her legs. Since she had been injured, he could only take her back for acupuncture. After all, it was quite cold in the mountains with snow.

Sebastian nodded. “Got it.”

“Apply this ointment to her,” said Macro. Then he added, “By the way, Chad came again early this morning.”

Sebastian was surprised. “Did he leave last night?”

“Yes, and he came again. He keeps telling Elliot that he wants to see you.”

Sebastian narrowed his eyes slightly. Elliot didn’t pass the message to him, presumably because he knew he wouldn’t see Chad.

Macro clucked. “Her biological parents were blinded. When Olivia was in Fiorenza, she dated at least four boyfriends in two years. It’s a wonder that Chris can accept that.”

Sebastian gave him an icy look. “Are you that much of a gossip?”

Macro shook his head. “No, I’m just giving you a heads-up.” He knew that besides Stephanie, Sebastian didn’t care about anything else concerning other women. He said it because he thought it had to do with Stephanie.

Sebastian didn’t want to say anything more to him and headed upstairs coldly. Looking at his back, Macro couldn’t help but tut. In his view, Sebastian must be unhappy because he was banned from having sex with Stephanie in the next few days.

Chad went back to the company early in the morning for a meeting. He learned that the company’s situation had become even more serious overnight. He completely panicked and rushed to Mount Spring.

Elliot’s tone wasn’t so friendly. “Mr. Hart, your entanglement is meaningless.”

“Mr. Grant, please do me this favor?” Chad looked around and slipped an envelope into Elliot’s hand. “Please, inform Mr. Giovanni of my visit. I beg you.”

Sebastian’s ruthlessness left him without hope. If this dragged on, the Hart Group would be completely destroyed within a week.

Elliot looked down at what Chad had handed him, his face darkening. “Mr. Hart, do you have any idea what Mr. Giovanni hates most?”

“Wh—what?” Anxious, Chad didn’t catch the hint in Elliot’s tone and asked subconsciously.

Elliot told him. “Mr. Giovanni hates people who take bribes and offer them. He loathes those who try to use their connections.”

Chad had nipped the opportunity himself, and there was no way he could resume Sebastian’s favor.

Chad stuttered. “But…” Before he could finish speaking, his phone rang. It was Catlin. He was annoyed to receive her call, especially when he was facing Elliot. Chad intended to hang up, but Elliot had turned around and left.

He anxiously answered the phone. “What’s the matter?” He had no patience with Catlin at all.

“Stephanie grew up in the Lucano family,” said Catlin.

“What do you mean?”

“She is Sebastian’s sister, just like Olivia is Tyler’s sister,” explained Catlin.

Silence suddenly fell on Chad’s side. His mind went blank.

“You mean Stefi was raised by the Lucano family?”

Catlin confirmed him. “Yes, we are all tricked by her this time. If she can’t clear up Mr. Giovanni’s misunderstanding of us, the Hart Group will be finished this time.”
