Chapter 421

Stephanie started crying. โ€œIt was Macroโ€™s blind date parties, and sheโ€ฆโ€ Mayra was at a loss for words.

Allison sniffled. โ€œIโ€™m moving out of the Lewis family! I donโ€™t want to have anything to do with you ever again!โ€

Lilian sighed inwardly. Are they trying to scare the life out of Mayra or what? After what happened last time, Lilian realized exactly where Stephanie stood in Sebastianโ€™s heart. As for Allison, regardless of how the Lewis family elders treated her, she was swayโ€™s precious to Vanit.

Lilian glanced at Mayra and thought, Itโ€™s over! She really gets herself into trouble. What am I thinking, coming out with her?

Lilian didnโ€™t want to say anything. She just stood up and turned to leave. The situation was too chaotic; she couldnโ€™t stay any longer.

โ€œLilian!โ€ Mayra tried to call her back. Despite being unhappy with the way Lilian had mediated earlier, she needed her company right now.

Lilian pretended not to hear and quickly left the scene.

Mayra watched Lilian leave, her heart racing as she turned to Stephanie and Allison. โ€œDo you even know whatโ€™s going on? Iโ€™m the one whoโ€™s getting hit here, so why are you pretending to be so wronged?โ€ she shouted angrily.

Stephanie had just hung up from Sebastianโ€™s call. โ€œHavenโ€™t you always liked Oliviaโ€™s pretending, even using it against others?โ€

Allison nodded. โ€œExactly. And we just fight fire with fire.โ€

Mayra was almost furious enough to faint.

In the car, Sebastian radiated intense danger. Macro, sitting next to him, broke into a cold sweat, especially after hearing Stephanie call his name. The car was speeding with incredible intensity.

Sebastian took a drag from his cigarette and glanced at Macro beside him. His gaze was so intimidating that it even made Macro swallow hard.

Macro tried to keep calm. โ€œLetโ€™s be honest. Do you really think a pampered girl could possibly beat Stefi? Sometimes we need to be sensible, right?โ€

Stephanie had managed to escape from Richardโ€™s tight security. Her stamina and strength were definitely beyond normal people, let alone Macroโ€™s blind date partner.

Sebastian squinted. โ€œShe cried.โ€

Macroโ€™s mouth twitched. โ€œSo, does whoever cries have the right?โ€

Sebastianโ€™s stare grew even colder, as if he was about to throw Macro out of the car. Macro quickly raised his hands. โ€œAlright, Stefi got hit, and she cried.โ€

Macro yielded to Sebastian, but he was curious about when Stephanie had learned to play the victim.

Macro believed that Stephanie was not a pushover. Based on Macroโ€™s understanding of Stephanie, she could stand against both the Hart and Ashford families without backing down. His blind date partner was definitely not Stephanieโ€™s equal.

Feeling the ever-chilling aura of Sebastian, Macro swallowed again. โ€œThis really isnโ€™t my problem, okay?โ€

Sebastian took another drag from his cigarette as they arrived at the mall Stephanie had pinpointed. Sebastian was the first to get out of the car before saying, โ€œSheโ€™s your blind date.โ€

Macro followed closely. โ€œWeโ€™ve only met twice, and Iโ€™m not interested in her at all.โ€

Sebastian said nothing.

โ€œSheโ€™s just a blind date, not my wife. Iโ€™m telling you now; Iโ€™m not covering for this mess! Seriously, what kind of bad luck am I having? I am the victim, too. Why is this blind date causing so much trouble?โ€

Elliot got out of the car after them and patted Macro on the shoulder as he passed by.

Macro was puzzled. โ€œWhatโ€™s that supposed to mean?โ€

Elliot replied, โ€œYou better hope your date hasnโ€™t done anything to Stephanie today. If something happened, today could get really complicated.โ€

Macroโ€™s mouth twitched. โ€œEven if something happened, itโ€™s not my problem, right?โ€ Besides, Stephanie would never get herself into trouble. He was sure her date wouldnโ€™t stand a chance.
