Chapter 510

โ€œBut why is Stephanie so special? Why does the Lucano family treat her like a queen? How can the famous Mr. Giovanni from Fiorenza spoil her like this?โ€ Tyler thought.

Sebastianโ€™s anger toward the Hart family had reached a whole new level. It felt endless. By the time Tyler snapped out of it, Stephanie had already walked away. He wanted to chase after her, but she was gone.

Tyler was so mad that he screamed and slapped himself hard twice. He couldnโ€™t stop thinking about how cold and ruthless Stephanie had been toward him, and how sheโ€™d treated the Hart family like they were nothing. It was driving him crazy.

โ€œWhat the hell do I do now? How am I supposed to fix this mess?โ€ he thought. โ€œI canโ€™t just leave things like this, can I?โ€

No matter what he tried, he couldnโ€™t find a way out. Everyone who used to be friendly with the Hart family now hung up on him as soon as they heard his name. The Hart family was like a rat in the street nowโ€”everyone avoiding them.

Tyler stood there fuming for what felt like forever. He still wanted to find Stephanie, but she was nowhere to be found. As he stood there, someone accidentally bumped into him, knocking him to the ground. Furious and with nowhere to let out his anger, Tyler lost control.

He jumped up and yelled at the person, โ€œWatch where youโ€™re going! Are you blind? If you canโ€™t see, why donโ€™t you just get rid of your eyes?โ€ Then he realized it was just a kid who had bumped into him. The kidโ€™s parents were having none of it. They immediately started beating him up.

โ€œWhat kind of animal are you? Cursing at a kid like that?โ€ the parents yelled.

Tylerโ€™s angry attitude disappeared in an instant. The rage he hadnโ€™t been able to release before now exploded even worse. In the end, Tyler wasnโ€™t even sure how he managed to drag his beaten body back to the Hart residence.

Because of the unpaid wages, two of the servants had already been driven away by Oliviaโ€™s attitude, and the butler had left, too. The only one still hanging on was Lucy from the kitchen. She was waiting to get paid, so she was gritting her teeth and sticking it out. But she wasnโ€™t giving Tyler or Olivia any kind of warm welcome. Nothing made a worker more upset than not getting paid.

When Lucy saw Tyler come back bruised and battered, she didnโ€™t even ask what happened. She just turned her face away, not saying a word. Her attitude was as cold as ice.

Tyler noticed that even a cook dared to give him attitude, and it set him off again. He snapped, โ€œGet out! If you want to work, then work. If not, get lost! Who do you think youโ€™re giving attitude to, huh?โ€

The anger he felt now was something the Hart family had never seen beforeโ€”not even at their highest point. โ€œWhat the hell had all this turned into?โ€ he thought.

Lucy heard him and scoffed. She muttered under her breath, โ€œAs soon as I get paid, Iโ€™m out of here.โ€

โ€œDoes he really think anyone can stand being here? It was bad enough when they treated us like garbage when we were getting paid. Now theyโ€™re not even paying us, and still acting like they own the place?โ€ she thought.

Tylerโ€™s head was pounding from the rage. He snorted and ignored Lucy, storming upstairs. Lucy watched him go and then spat on the floor. โ€œUnbelievable. People really think theyโ€™re in the right for not paying their workers these days.โ€

Tyler limped up the stairs. As he reached the hallway, he heard Oliviaโ€™s voice coming from her room. โ€œYouโ€™re my aunt! If you donโ€™t help me, who else will?โ€

โ€œIf it werenโ€™t for me getting you into the company, you think youโ€™d be living this good life now? Iโ€™m seriousโ€”go to my dad and make him cover the medical bills!โ€ Olivia yelled into the phone, her voice filled with urgency.

Tyler wasnโ€™t sure exactly what they were talking about, but it was obvious from the way Olivia was speaking that she was getting worked up. When Olivia mentioned โ€œmy dad,โ€ Tyler instantly realized who she was talking to. His face immediately darkened.

He walked slowly toward Oliviaโ€™s room, his fists clenched tight. Standing in the doorway, Tyler saw Olivia sitting at her vanity, talking on the phone. She had her back to him and didnโ€™t notice he was there. His body was tense, every muscle tight with anger.

He couldnโ€™t hear the other side of the conversation, but Oliviaโ€™s yelling was clear. โ€œWhat do you mean by โ€˜not your auntโ€™? What the hell are you talking about?โ€

She continued, โ€œYou think just because you gave my dad twins, you own the whole Hart family now? Think again! Tyler and I are still here! Now, give me 13 millionโ€”โ€

The woman on the other end was denying that she was Oliviaโ€™s aunt, and it was the final straw for Olivia. Olivia screamed into the phone, her voice dripping with fury. โ€œWithout me, youโ€™d still be stuck washing dishes somewhere! You wouldnโ€™t have this life! You ungratefulโ€ฆ Hello? Hello?โ€

Before she could finish, the woman hung up. Furious, Olivia slammed the phone down on the dresser. It made a loud crash, and she immediately started coughing violently.
