Sofia said, “If you had run into danger when you came to us, Mom and I would definitely have gone to find you. You know, the situation at that time…” Sofia didn’t finish her sentence, but given her words, it was clear what the circumstances were back then.

Sofia continued, “Sebastian wants me to marry him.”

Sofia replied simply, “I just think he’s a good guy.”
Stephanie was baffled by Sofia’s repeated judgment. ‘Does Sofia really believe Richard is good? Does she truly think he’s better than Dan now?’
“So, are you going to marry him?” Stephanie asked hesitantly. It suddenly struck her as odd that Richard wanted to marry Sofia and Sebastian wasn’t opposed to it. To Stephanie, the whole situation seemed far from simple.
Sofia snorted, “Marry him? Even though he’s a good guy, I can’t marry him.”
Stephanie thought, “That makes sense. Sofia wouldn’t marry him just because he’s good. But I still feel like there’s something off about this whole thing.”
“I’m done talking to you. I’m going to find Dan and get it back for Richard,” Sofia declared. She suddenly felt quite discontented. “Huh, don’t be ridiculous. Marry Richard just because of a debt? Not a chance. I’d never do that.”
“Huh?”
“I’m going to get it back.”
Stephanie was shocked and wondered, ‘Is she talking about the document Richard lost? Is she serious? What’s the point in getting it back now? Anything important has probably already been leaked!’
