Chapter 574

The person holding onto Lambertoโ€™s back asked nervously. Lamberto was sweating profusely, especially after hearing the noises inside, which clearly suggested a fight. โ€œI had no idea Mr. Murry was connected with that she-devil!โ€

Sofia was so fierce. Lamberto had never thought sheโ€™d have ties with a man. Lamberto looked distraught. โ€œItโ€™s all been a waste.โ€ Dan had connections with the Lucano family; having Dan invest in those raw materials was definitely not going to work.

Even though it sounded pretty loud in there, Lamberto stretched his head. โ€œWho knows if these two are actually fighting or just in some kind of twisted romance? If they are a thing, then weโ€™re definitely in trouble.โ€

Everyone was rendered speechless.

Inside, Sofia and Dan were fighting fiercely. Sofia had sharpened her skills over the years. It was unclear whether it was because Dan was drunk or he was holding back because she was a woman. In any case, with one final punch, Sofia knocked Dan out cold.

Sofia came out with her long hair in a mess. Lamberto was shocked to see her looking like a madwoman. โ€œMs. Giovanni, are you okay?โ€

Sofia shot him a look. โ€œRemember this, Iโ€™m going to tell Sebastian about tonight.โ€ Lamberto had been quite active in recent years, especially with the unclear situation involving Dan. She was definitely going to tell Sebastian.

Lamberto was surprised by her words. โ€œMs. Giovanni, please donโ€™t.โ€

โ€œHumph,โ€ Sofia scoffed and walked away without a second thought. Lamberto wanted to follow her, but seeing Dan knocked out in the booth, he quickly turned back.

It started to rain heavily outside the club. Sofia walked through the rain, her once fierce attitude towards Dan now transformed into loneliness. Even from her silhouette, she seemed heart-wrenchingly sad.

In a nearby car, Richard was in the front seat while Cliff, the driver, said, โ€œItโ€™s really pouring down hard.โ€

Richard scoffed, โ€œDonโ€™t worry; sheโ€™s like a steel woman, nothing can soak her through.โ€

Cliff thought, โ€œThen why come here?โ€ But since Richard had said it, Cliff naturally didnโ€™t comment further.

Richard, however, was annoyed. He lit a cigarette, only took a couple of drags, and then pushed the car door open to get out. Just as he placed a foot on the ground, someone suddenly appeared behind Sofia holding an umbrella.

Both Richard and Cliff recognized the manโ€”it was Eddie Grant, one of Sebastianโ€™s subordinates.

Cliff frowned. Richardโ€™s gaze sharpened, and the foot heโ€™d just stepped out pulled back. โ€œI thought Sebastian only cared about Stephanie, but he seems to pay a lot of attention to this tomboy too.โ€

Cliff rubbed his nose, knowing Richard was unhappy about Eddieโ€™s sudden appearance. After a small cough, he said, โ€œAfter all, sheโ€™s his real sister. Different personalities, different approaches.โ€

That was true. Sebastian wasnโ€™t biased. Stephanie was a sweet and simple soul, raised with care, while Sofia, more wild-spirited, grew up more independently.

Stephanie had a good nightโ€™s sleep, and in the morning, to her surprise, Sebastian was still there. When they were in Long Harbor, sheโ€™d often wake up to find he was already gone, leaving her alone. Stephanie rolled over and snuggled against him.

Sebastian looked down. โ€œAwake now?โ€ he asked.

Stephanie wriggled her head and playfully said, โ€œIโ€™m hungry.โ€ She had woken up because of it.
