Chapter 648

On the surface, he wanted her to go back and pester them, but no one knew what he was really planning. Only a ghost would know.

Hearing the threat in her tone, Richard glared at her. โ€œSo, go ahead and call me whatever you want. Just call me โ€˜Dad.โ€™โ€

โ€œWould you answer if I called you that?โ€ Sofia retorted.

Richard was speechless. He thought, โ€œThis woman is so sharp.โ€

โ€œDid you also call that woman โ€˜Momโ€™?โ€ Richardโ€™s voice grew even colder when he mentioned Mona.

โ€œI didnโ€™t,โ€ Sofia said. Not just anyone could be Sofiaโ€™s mother, especially not someone like Mona.

Richard felt a sense of relief wash over him, knowing that Sofia hadnโ€™t gone that far. If she had called Mona โ€œMom,โ€ he swore he would have strangled her on the spot.

โ€œWhere are we going?โ€ Sofia asked, noticing they werenโ€™t heading back to the Giovanni residence.

โ€œItโ€™s too late. We are going to my villa.โ€ It was nearby, and maids cleaned it regularly. He could stay there anytime.

Sofia yawned. She was exhausted. Although pulling all-nighters was normal for them, tonightโ€™s entanglement with that group had truly worn her out.

Just as she was about to close her eyes for a bit, her phone started vibrating. Richardโ€™s phone rang at the same time. They both answered their phones simultaneously.

They both said, โ€œComing,โ€ at the same time, not knowing what was said on the other end of the phone.

After hanging up the phone, their eyes met. โ€œI have to go to Nocturna. You go to bed first.โ€ โ€œTake me to the Empty Bottle first.โ€ They spoke in unison again.

Sofia and Richard both fell into silence. Nocturna and Empty Bottle were two nightclubs next to each other.

Sofia spoke first, โ€œI have a hangout.โ€

Richard quipped, โ€œSo do I.โ€

Sofia retorted, โ€œWhat, youโ€™re not going to tell me I have to stay home and be a good wife, are you?โ€ It was just a drink with friends. If she couldnโ€™t even do that, they would be getting a divorce tomorrow.

Richard sneered, โ€œUnbelievable.โ€

Sofia pouted but said nothing. She thought, โ€˜Who are you calling unbelievable?โ€™

Richard asked again, โ€œDo you have to go?โ€

Sofia gritted her teeth. โ€œOf course.โ€ She was just going for a drink, but her answer sounded somewhat strained. Because Luca was at the Empty Bottle, that bitch. She ran off with all her stuff last time.

Sofia was beyond furious about this whole situation. Now that she finally got her hands on Luca, she wouldnโ€™t let her get away without a scratch.

Richard arrived at Nocturna, while Sofia went to the Empty Bottle next door. Richard wasnโ€™t worried about her, knowing that in Fiorenza, no one would dare to mess with her. After all, this was her usual lifestyle.

As soon as Richard entered the private room, Albert stood up. โ€œRichard, cotor on sell us how you up a nagy ha shrew from the Giovanni family.โ€

โ€œYeah, you have no idea, Adrian has gone completely mad over this Aarther guy. Lom died in Cong cases in the middle of the night. How pissed off must he be?โ€

These guys present were Richardโ€™s closest friends from his time in Fiorenza. Haubber, one Bong, sat on the sofa without saying a word, just staring at Richard with a deep gaze.

โ€œOf course, itโ€™s true,โ€ Richard said. โ€œCalling him mad is an understatement. Heโ€™s about to become a palele stay dog.โ€ Hearing his words, Lott and Albert burst into laughter. Albert said, โ€œThree years ago, after all the bears we firing you were over it.โ€ So it turned out he had been waiting to strike back at Adrian.

โ€œYou were in Paginara these past few years, but heโ€™s been quite the hotshot in Florenza,โ€ Lou added. โ€œSpecifically walking all over everyoneโ€ฆโ€
