She directly handed it to Sofia, who was still angry. “What’s this?” Sofia asked.

“Eight o’clock this morning, he left Nocturna,” Stephanie replied.

Sofia took the phone and glanced at it. She looked at the time on the surveillance camera, then at the person on the screen. Her breath instantly became heavy, and she almost gritted her teeth. ‘Damn it, it’s that jerk,’ she thought.

“Get back in the car,” Sofia said through gritted teeth as Stephanie was about to get out. She shoved her phone back into her hand.

Hearing her tone, Stephanie knew she was going to find Dan. In her current state, Sofia was definitely going to kill him.

Regardless of what happened between them, Dan was now engaged to Elena. If he really did that to Sofia last night, Sofia would definitely make him suffer.

Stephanie didn’t get out of the car. “I’ll go with you.”

“Go where? Go home! Do you think I’m in the mood to take care of you now?” When she saw Dan, she would definitely kill him.

If it had been before, she would have definitely taken Stephanie to the scene to see the fun. But now she was pregnant. If anything happened, it wouldn’t just be her who would skin Dan alive; the whole family would kill her.

Stephanie said, “I’m not letting you go alone. Take someone with you.” Dan was too deep, and Stephanie felt he was especially shady.

“I know, I’ll take someone with me.” After much persuasion, Stephanie got out of the car. Just as the servant helped her out, there was a roar behind them. Sofia drove away.

Just from the sound of the car speeding off, one could tell how angry she was. This was the first time she had been dumped like this, and the other party even ran away. Especially since this person was Dan, anyone would be angry, let alone Sofia. Dan was definitely in serious trouble this time.

Stephanie quickly took out her phone and called Sebastian. Sebastian answered quickly. “Stefi.”

“Sofia is in trouble.” Stephanie had been running around with Sofia all morning and hadn’t had a chance to tell Sebastian what had happened. Besides, Sofia always handled things on her own and never told their family.

It was already a miracle Sofia had answered her call this morning, so Sebastian must have been clueless about last night.

“What happened?” Sebastian asked.

“It might have something to do with Dan Murry,” she said.

Stephanie told Sebastian everything that had happened last night, including everything she and Sofia had discussed. She also told Sebastian that Sofia had gone to find Dan to settle the score.

Stephanie was worried and asked Sebastian to send someone to follow Sofia. Although Sofia had said she would bring people with her, she was too angry to make proper arrangements.

As Sebastian listened, his breathing grew heavier. After Stephanie finished speaking, he said in a low voice, “I understand. You stay home and don’t get involved.”

“Sofia won’t let me go either,” Stephanie said. Just now, Sofia had specifically asked her to go home first and said she would find Dan herself.

“Okay, I’ll take care of it.” After that, Sebastian hung up the phone.

In the villa, Richard’s face was clouded over. Theodore, Albert, and the others analyzed the situation. Now, Richard couldn’t bring himself to confess to Sofia. He remained silent.

“Richard, even if you don’t value your own life, think about ours!” Theodore exclaimed. Sofia’s fury was not to be trifled with. She could make life very difficult for them, and no one involved would escape unscathed.

Richard shot him a dangerous look. “You want me to be her doormat forever?” he growled.

Theodore thought, ‘Yes, exactly! A doormat. After what you did, running away like that. What else could you be?’

“No, it wouldn’t be forever,” Theodore said quickly. “At least, you need to build a relationship with her. Until she falls for you, this secret has to stay buried.”

Faced with this disaster, the only way out was for Sofia to fall head over heels for Richard. But her heart was like a stone, almost impossible to move.

Theodore felt a wave of despair wash over him.
