Chapter 671
However, when Ella was sick and unconscious, her sense of safety was too strong, and she was almost completely unyielding. Lorenzo patiently coaxed her for more than ten minutes, but she didnโt loosen her grip on her clothes at all. Lorenzo reached his limit. He grabbed her waist with one hand and her clothes with the other. Then Ellaโs clothes were torn apart. The servants outside heard the commotion and didnโt dare to enter.
Lorenzo quickly changed Ellaโs clothes. During the whole process, Ella squirmed and whimpered in dissatisfaction. But because her eyelids were heavy from the illness, she wasnโt very conscious throughout the process.
Compared to the harmony between Stephanie and Sebastian, Lorenzo was going crazy taking care of Ella. He fed her medicine and changed her clothes. To do that, he had used all his tricks.
The most difficult one was Richard. After he found out that Sofia had taken people to look for Elena, he returned to the villa with a sullen face. Albert and Lancelot didnโt dare to leave, hiding at Richardโs place. They were afraid that Sofia would find out and retaliate. With Richard around, they might get beaten up less.
The thing was, they didnโt see what Sofia did to Dan. Even those playing cards with him got beaten up. They were doomed if Sofia found out they deleted the surveillance footage and tampered with the check-in information.
When Theodore saw Richardโs expression, he asked, โAre you okay? Why the long face?โ Theodore thought he was seeing things. Otherwise, he wouldnโt see a trace of fear in Richardโs eyes. In his mind, Richard had always been fearless.
Richard glanced at Theodore and punched him. Theodore was dumbfounded. โRichard, what are you doing?โ
โYou scaredy-cat!โ Richard thought about how Theodore had dragged him away, and his heart ached with anger.
Theodore, his face swelling, said, โWhat was that for?โ He was terrified. Before Sofia could come after them, he got beaten up by Richard.
Richard gritted his teeth. โSofia took people to deal with Elena.โ
โWhat?โ Theodore exclaimed.
Albert and Lancelot were shocked. They didnโt know what happened or why Sofia would go after Danโs fiancรฉe.
Theodore gasped, โWhat happened?โ It was a bit overwhelming. He wondered if Sofia would really beat Elena up. Sofia had such a hot temper. It would be surprising if she could control her temper now.
Richard pinched the bridge of his aching nose. โShe already knows the man last night wasnโt Dan.โ
Theodore, Albert, and Lancelot were scared. They all turned pale after hearing Richardโs words. Things had been escalating rapidly since last night.
Theodore asked, โYou mean, she suspected that Elena set her up?โ
Richard hummed in agreement. โSheโs quite certain.โ Suspicion and certainty were two entirely different concepts.
Theodore was not doing well. First, Sofia thought it was Dan, and then Dan was beaten half to death. Now she was sure that Elena had set her up. There was no need to think about it; Elena would suffer.
Besides, given Sofiaโs pace, it was only a matter of time before she found out it was them. Not to mention, she still had theโฆ
โNo way! Iโm going back to Paginara right now,โ Theodore could no longer remain calm. He didnโt want to spend another day in Fiorenza. In just half a day, Sofia seriously injured Dan, and now it was Elenaโs turn.
There was no way to explain this now. She had beaten them all up. If Theodore managed to clear things up, that would only make things worse.
โLetโs get out of here too,โ Albert and Lancelot said, their faces pale. Seeing Sofiaโs demeanor, they didnโt think it was safe to be around Richard right now. It was better to find a place to hide.
Theodoreโs phone buzzed. His news came later than Richardโs this time.
โGo ahead,โ he said, answering the call.
โSofia is causing trouble again. She took people to go after Mr. Murryโs fiancรฉe.โ
โI know,โ Theodore said. Even without being there, he could sense how furious Sofia was. After all, from Sofiaโs perspective, she was the victim who had been assaulted.
Theodore hung up the phone and looked at Richard. โRichard, are you coming with me?โ They couldnโt stay in Fiorenza anymore. Someone might get killed.
โWhat did you say?โ Richard asked, each word laced with gritted teeth. The anger from being dragged out of the hotel in the morning hadnโt subsided, and now he was even angrier that Theodore wanted him to go to Paginara.
Sensing Richardโs dangerous tone, Theodore felt a cold sweat break out on his forehead. โFine, you stay. Iโm leaving. Iโm definitely leaving!โ He didnโt dare stay a moment longer.
Richard narrowed his eyes at Theodore.
