Chapter 143: Snap Photos of Rebecca and Gordon
Isabella's vacation began after the show's recording, giving her three days to relax at home. During those three days, she obsessively browsed the internet for entertainment industry gossip, captivated by the ongoing upheaval. Her reputation as the industry's "Justice Upholder" grew increasingly enigmatic.
In the living room, the Quirks were chatting. Rosalie, laughing, showed Isabella her phone. A netizen's comment was displayed: "I thought Isabella would fall first, but it was everyone else. Admittedly, she has some metaphysical power."
Isabella mused, "Huh? Why would someone say that about me?"
The Quirks, recalling her system, understood perfectly. Evian chuckled, "Look at this. This person said they'll decide who to fan based on your friendships. Otherwise, celebrities risk emotional and financial ruin if real feelings are involved." Selena added with a laugh, "Bella's become a trendsetter."
Isabella grumbled, "My Twitter inbox is flooded with appraisal requests. I've practically become an appraiser!" She thought, Actually, chasing a celebrity is like marriage. It might start well, but ultimately, it depends on conscience. I can't guarantee anyone won't disappoint us in the future.
The Quirks agreed. Selena asked curiously, "By the way, is Rebecca under your agency?"
Christopher, playing Lego with Callahan, glanced at the clock. "Almost. Danielle is taking her to her former company today to terminate her contract, then she'll officially sign with us."
Selena worried, "Don't take advantage of her in the contract. She's such a pitiful girl."
David and Selena, known for their kindness, had already arranged employee benefits for Rebecca, including transferring her grandmother to a Quirk Group nursing home. Evian handled it. Christopher said, "Do we look strapped for cash? The contract gives her considerable freedom."
Isabella smiled, "According to Danielle, we're cultivating Rebecca for the silver screen, aiming for international stardom. Given her potential, her future value is immeasurable."
Everyone was pleased with Rebecca's progress.
As they spoke, Isabella's phone vibrated. A private message from her alternate Twitter account read: "Are you free to take some photos?"
Confused, she remembered using that account to pose as a paparazzi, selling scoop videos to marketing accounts. This account wants me to take photos? Do they really think I'm paparazzi? Let's see this gossip
Initially, the Quirks ignored the incident, until Isabella's inner thoughts blared. Except for Callahan, they recoiled, covering their ears. "What's going on?"
Isabella revealed, "They want me to photograph Rebecca and Gordon having an affair at the hotel!"
The Quirks were shocked. Gordon and Ruth had been harassing Rebecca; she was the innocent victim. How could anyone request photos of an affair? Isabella immediately messaged to investigate.
It turned out that someone leaked information to marketing accounts, claiming Rebecca and Gordon would be in Room 143 of the King Hotel that night. The accounts were desperate for exclusive photos, willing to pay for them. The Quirks found it absurd, believing it fabricated. However, the accounts, fearing missing a scoop, were hiring paparazzi. A counter-trend scoop would guarantee immense popularity. Confirmation could ruin Rebecca and even those supporting her.
Isabella sensed the marketing account's excitement; explosive news was treasure to them. They'd release a preview, then negotiate. If dissatisfied, or a better offer arose, the full photos would be released. They believed Isabella was a skilled paparazzi after her previous scoop. Private photos were usually impossible for paparazzi to obtain.

Chapter 143: Snap Photos of Rebecca and Gordon
Isabella thought, Haha, you want my "Justice Upholder" reputation shattered? Keep dreaming. Oh, wait, I don't care. Ugh, never mind. I need to check this.
The Quirks waited silently, assuming a misunderstanding. Instead, they heard Isabella curse. "What a despicable couple! Gordon and Ruth are setting Rebecca up!"
The Quirks were stunned. Neither party had issued statements, suggesting they wanted to bury the issue. Rebecca lacked evidence and chose not to push the matter, fearing overtaxing netizen sympathy. Gordon and Ruth should have kept a low profile, but they were at it again. They planned to drug Rebecca to make it look like she seduced Gordon, have paparazzi capture it, and then leak the scandal. The source was Ruth herself! It was a staged act to catch Rebecca red-handed, making it seem she seduced Gordon, causing Ruth's misunderstanding and Gordon's withdrawal.
The Quirks were disgusted. They'd thought the couple shameless, but not this malicious.
Isabella pondered. No, Ruth is a hopeless romantic. Is she trying to stop things before they get too far?
The Quirks agreed. Absolutely! Otherwise, that shameless Gordon would get his way!
But Isabella continued, What? She told Gordon she'd intervene, but she also planned to drug him, turning seduction into adultery, ruining Rebecca and Gordon. Then she could control Gordon.
The Quirks imagined a middle-aged, obsessed, forced love story.
Isabella thought, But I don't care if you want to teach that man a lesson. Why drag an innocent girl down?
The Quirks looked at her. "What should we do? We need to rescue Rebecca!"
