Chapter 28: Drama Everywhere

After a quick heads-up to Alexander, she hopped into the agency's minivan.

Soon, Hayden, along with his new assistant, Thalia Jenkins, and the styling team arrived at the Silvinubis Hotel in the neighboring city. Hayden's arrival caused such a stir that onlookers might have mistaken him for Christopher.

An acquaintance, upon seeing a stunning woman with Hayden, was taken aback. Those in the industry, well-informed about Christopher's breakup with Bianca, were surprised to see him escorting another woman. This was major news.

Isabella, familiar from various magazines and Quirk Group billboards, was an intriguing addition to the scene.

"Hayden, you're here! What's Mr. Christopher been up to? And who is this?" someone asked.

"This is our agency's newest artist, Isabella Jeannet. Please support her," Hayden replied.

"Hayden, spill it. What's her connection to Mr. Christopher?" pressed another.

"They're not romantically involved. She comes from an influential background—social elite, this is just a hobby for her," Hayden emphasized, ensuring to minimize potential trouble. Anyone perceptive would easily uncover her identity anyway.

At the red wine tasting party, Hayden managed all social interactions, while Isabella simply followed, smiling politely, and acknowledging people. This elevated everyone's perception of her status.

Hayden skillfully navigated the social scene, while Isabella enjoyed the spectacle. However, with more staff than celebrities, gossip remained limited. Isabella grew bored.

Then, Bianca appeared, walking briskly toward them.

Isabella understood Luna's past desire to ruin her own face. Bianca's presence was momentarily disconcerting, enough to disgust Luna. But why was Bianca here?

Bianca sought Hayden, assuming Christopher would be with him. Instead, she found Isabella. Hesitant to offend Isabella, she anxiously asked Hayden, "Hayden, is Chris here?"

Hayden, maintaining a professional smile despite his annoyance, replied, "Nope."

Bianca refused to believe him, "Could he be here but refusing to see me?"

Her commotion drew curious glances, irking Hayden. Media attention would make this a trending topic, adding to the headache of previous rumors. As an agent, he couldn't let his client face such trouble.

Knowing Bianca wouldn't listen, Hayden tried to divert her attention. "Ms. Bianca, let's discuss this outside."

"Alright, take me to Chris."

Hayden's face froze as he looked at Isabella. Isabella was also distressed. If the sisters met, Bianca might cause a scene.

"I'm tired and going for a stroll with Thalia," Isabella announced.

Hayden nodded, and he and several others quickly left, leaving behind a crowd craving more drama.

The Silvinubis Hotel comprised three buildings: dining/entertainment/leisure, accommodation, and meetings/events.

After parting ways with Hayden, Isabella returned to her room to change and messaged Luna: "Luna, I'm at the Silvinubis Hotel. I think I saw you. Are you here too?"

There was no response. Isabella wasn't sure if Luna ignored her message or chose not to respond. After all, she was Christopher's sister-in-law, someone he might want to eliminate from his life.

Nevertheless, Isabella warned Luna: "By the way, I saw Bianca at the event. Hope you don't run into her."

Still no response. Isabella and Thalia headed to the entertainment zone.

In the first-floor lobby, a large crowd gathered, watching a scene unfold.

Isabella and Thalia joined them. A man was kneeling, clinging to a woman's leg.

The man cried, "Anais, I love you! I can't live without you!"

Anais pleaded, "Zeke, stop it! People are staring!"

Their argument revealed a volatile relationship, fueled by Zeke's jealousy and Anais's friends' concerns about his behavior. He repeatedly slapped himself, begging for forgiveness. Anais, heartbroken, eventually pushed him away, saying their issues were complex and suggesting she would question his claims about a supposed rival before deciding whether to reconcile.

The crowd dispersed after Zeke yelled at them.

Isabella and Thalia discussed the situation. Thalia questioned Isabella's belief in Zeke's story. Isabella pointed out the potential for reconciliation regardless of Zeke's truthfulness. She warned Thalia about the dangers of friendship with those who shift blame onto others.

They then saw Anais enter a nearby cafe. Isabella's attention, however, was drawn to four people inside: Luna and three colleagues discussing a research project and their funding difficulties.

Someone mentioned that Luna was no longer part of the Cowell family. Suddenly, a disguised Christopher entered, offering to invest. Everyone was shocked—especially given Luna's recent breakup with him and his close relationship with Bianca.

Christopher's disguise didn't fool them. His sudden appearance and investment offer were clearly connected to Luna.

Luna remained detached, suggesting he negotiate with their professor. Christopher, desperate, tried to talk to her personally, but she accused him of using his money and power. He eventually agreed to see the professor, leaving dejectedly.

As he left, he saw Isabella and gasped. Everyone turned to see her. Luna recognized her as Christopher's sister-in-law.
